This channel nowadays usually uploads Pokemon videos, usually challange runs using only Bug type Pokemon., as well as the occasional Need for Speed video. Past that there are video uploads of various Pokemon and Touhoumon romhacks as well as some videos on the racing game series Ridge Racer. My videos generally come without audio commentary.
Hanamaru did surprisingly well against Nosepass, nice! Also, that first rock throw missing seems big. Not sure how the battle would’ve ended up if that had hit. Looking forward to more battles!
I kinda wish they retained their super effectiveness against Poison types from Gen 1. It was surprisingly fun razing through Team Rocket with a Beedrill
A little tip for future challenges, check the damage of a move. Wing attack is 60 base power, with stab is 90. Return with max happiness is like 102 if i remember well, so even without stab is stronger
I know I’ve done bug teams in Silver before, but they were backed by Typhlosion and Lapras. The rest were Scyther, Pinsir, Shuckle, and Beedrill… I believe. It’s been two decades since then. Though I ran through Scarlet with a full bug team. Crushed everyone fairly easily with a Frosmoth, Venomoth, Rabasca, Scisor, Volcarona, and Heracross.
