A little tip for future challenges, check the damage of a move. Wing attack is 60 base power, with stab is 90. Return with max happiness is like 102 if i remember well, so even without stab is stronger

I would’ve thought Espeon could survive the explosion from forretress. Maybe it would have if self destruct was used.

I know I’ve done bug teams in Silver before, but they were backed by Typhlosion and Lapras. The rest were Scyther, Pinsir, Shuckle, and Beedrill… I believe. It’s been two decades since then. Though I ran through Scarlet with a full bug team. Crushed everyone fairly easily with a Frosmoth, Venomoth, Rabasca, Scisor, Volcarona, and Heracross.

Thats not a mobo type Team. You had bug/fighting bug/steel bug/Rock and so on

Beating NPC trainer (no matter the level) don't mean anything as they never switch their pokemon anyway.
