Peach is one fruit that goes through a lot of chemical sprays. It definitely is advised to wash these before eating. I can tell you this, we don't spray when it's close to harvest. Plus the nature washes it with rain. 😊
This one is Julyprince variety. The best way to get this is from the farm itself. Pearson farm, Dickey's Farm in Georgia. Grocery stores have peaches in bulk so it could be a mix of different varieties. Also they won't be fresh.
Yes, that is a catfish. I live in Louisiana and have fished my whole life. That’s called a Blue Catfish. There’s 3 types of catfish in the USA: Blue catfish, channel catfish, and flathead catfish. As you can see the blue cat he is holding has a forked tail and has a sort of blue color to it. Channel cats also have forked tails but they will vary in color but mostly are a yellowish color. Flathead catfish have rounded tails so they are the easiest to identify! That catfish is small but I’d consider that catch to be a good eating size. If you catch those big 50+ pound catfish they are old and nasty. Small to medium size is delicious eating

This looks beautiful we are planning to visit blue ridge for thanksgiving. Do you think there might still have some fall colors left? Also we have a toddler 1.5 yrs with us. Was it cold. Would love to know so I can pack appropriately since we live in hot Florida
Thanksgiving might be late to see fall colors in blue ridge but it also depends on the weather conditions this year. I hope you get to see the fall color. Weather wise, it was very cold in the morning when we were there but the train has the closed and open compartment that you can choose from. We chose the closed one and it wasn't that cold inside.
