On Oct 21, 2023, we traveled to Brasstown Bald, the highest point of Georgia in the US to witness the spectacular fall color. On our way, we witnessed the subtle changes in the foliage color. The view from the elevation of 4784 feet at the summit was simply breathtaking. If you want to plan your visit for the fall color, then October 2nd to 4th week is the best time for Brasstown Bald. You can also plan your visit anytime (Spring or Fall) for a great hike, view, and fresh air. Be prepared for slight traffic as you approach the destination.
