Could you make a video on the best way to purchase a new vehicle without getting ripped off? In my case I plan on getting new Frontier PRO 4x, I will trade in my current vehicle that is paid off and I have a title for it. The remaining balance I would pay cash. I used just go to the dealership and negotiate on the spot, but that usually doesnt work out in my favor.
I looked at a Titan platinum last week. I prefer my 2016 RAM Laramie 1500 and will drive it until the end. If a big issue arises I might go for a RAM 2500 with a 6.4 l engine. Proven technology.
I'm driving my Dodge till the wheels fall off. I looked at a replacement and the PRICES are ridiculous in Canada, my 2016 Durango has been very reliable just a water pump under warranty years back. The Monthly payment would give me a headache.
Great video thanks for all the information. I’m leaning towards to get a Willy. Hope I’m making the right decision. My 2006 Chevrolet Silverado with 304,000 miles transmissions given out now.
The Nissan Frontier is about to corner the market. Could the 6th gen 4runner be delayed to avoid the Frontier to be the only naturally aspirated engine on the market? Toyota wants to release the Stout naturally aspirated small truck before they cancel production on the 5th gen. Toyota isn't in the business to give Nissan all those customers. There's zero chance Toyota allows Nissan to be the only naturally aspirated truck engine in America. My guess is the release of the Stout was pushed back, not the 6th gen 4runner.
The last bugs of the 5th gen 4runner were worked out in the 2024 model. If you count 2009, when you could first buy the 5th gen, even though the official release year was 2010, and 2025 when you know you can still find the last few 2024 models still on some lots, it will mean the 5th gen was available brand-new spanning 17 different years. And, it will be missed, and it will go up in price. I think it's the land rover's last good year that's really starting to shoot up in price. The same will happen to this year's 4runner. I wish I could buy 20 and place them in storage.
The USA instead of banning Chinese made vehicles simply let them in and *GIVE THEM AWAY* as an alternative to this so called crisis...after proper validation from a certified BEV technician of course. How does *FREE CARS* sound after *ALL THIS BULLSHIT OF THE 50 YEARS*😊
From what I'm hearing, the 6th gen 4Runner is being delayed due to the lack of sales from the 2024 Tacoma's. The 6th gen will still go into production soon, just not as soon.
@@Jason-Samko That's what they say, lol. I read their release on parts shortage due to the same parts being used in two other popular vehicles Toyota sells, I'm just not believing them. I think Toyota sees what's going on with the tundra and Tacoma sales wise and is pumping the breaks on adding another overpriced unwanted turbo charged smaller engine on the market. Not to mention, this would make the Nissan Frontier the only truck left with a naturally aspirated engine, I'm not sure Toyota likes that.
The mindset of is viewing vehicles as utilitarian will open the door for foreign brands to move in and make a vehicle that is exciting and the big companies will lose business and then whine about it.
I saw your other video and checked out Jeep. They really are offering some decently competitive pricing on the 24 models on the website if you build your own. Good deal for Jeep. Maybe, just maybe, they'll get back in the game.
If our government actually had prosecutors that locked up crooks we would be in a different place socially. We have degraded to letting crime happen with NO consequences, we are going down hill quick & it’s not good! We need leadership, not DEI work salad.
4:22 I agree. I have Blue Cruise (trial) on my F-150 and you get pretty bored after a while. If you have a real self driving system, which is still far away, you could watch a movie, do computer work, etc. but right now you still have to pay attention to the road. Might as well grab the steering wheel.
@Jason-Samko Because this countries legal system, criminal and civil, has been over run with bleeding heart liberals, who give more rights to the criminal than the innocent.
My buddy leased a 4xe. Its already been back to the dealer twice. He said he's so glad he decided to lease. He said when its up, back to the dealer it goes.
My friend I drive a fully loaded 2013 CRV with just over 100,000 miles on it. I still have 50,000 miles or three years left on a bumper-to-bumper warranty I bought separately, the car is kept out of the elements and is extremely new looking and running, on the other hand, my wife, her car got stolen out of the driveway, we moved from New York Long Island area we were there all our lives now we live in Pickens county South Carolina in the mountains. Buying a car down Here was a whole new experience, used cars have crazy high mileage because of the highway systems ,60% of the cars down here have salvage titles, so we ended up buying a little Mazda two with 50,000 original miles original owner garage kept underneath this car is as clean as the top. It’s nothing to brag about but it will run for 200,000 miles more. The kicker is we paid $9500 for the car out the door. The car was 17,000 when it was new 12 years ago, how’s that for upside down, but you can’t look at it that way I have to look at it as we have a 50,000 mile vehicle. We paid 10 grand for it and we keep it for many years. What a mess this countries in.
Great you can do that. I drive 40k miles a year on just my truck (and another 20k a year on my wife's). But myself at 40k on mine means in 5 years it's done with 200k on it. That's why I buy new for very low and selling a year and a half later for the same as I bought it for new or close to it. So most trucks cost me nothing or maybe 100 a month to own. But I means I have to swap vehicles often and find the best deals
@@Jason-Samko get it everyone’s life is different. If I had a new vehicle, I couldn’t afford breakdowns. There’s too much technology that’s why you get rid of yours every year and a half. I absolutely get it.
I just bought a 2024 SR5 Premium yesterday, and I'm going to pick it up Monday! I can't wait! I originally wasn't planning on purchasing one anytime soon, but I don't like the new body styles on the 6th gens, and I worry about engine performance... Glad I got one while I still could.
are you kidding me. cops in Ontario Canada are telling vehicle owners to leave their vehicle keys at the front door to make it easier for these little bastards to steal your vehicle. and you wonder why insurance companies don't want to insure our vehicles anymore.
Vehicle prices here in Canada are awful. My friend test drove a 2024 F-150 STX and it was $60,000.00 and that was with $8000.00 for “employee pricing” I’m hanging onto my current vehicle for a bit longer. Though I don’t expect prices to change they at least need to increase trim levels or something. 70k for plastic and tin.
