Excellent video and I particularly enjoyed the update at the end of the video. So glad your plants experienced growth during your time away and that they are all in good shape . Your plants are beautiful and I love the way you have styled them in your home. Great job! 👌🪴🥰.
I am growing ginger! I bought some and it sprouted, so I planted it. Hoping for the best :) This home is beautiful and similar light conditions to my home. Thank goodness for grow lights! Thank you for sharing. You have a beautiful voice and it was soothing to watch and listen to you before starting my day.
hola. beautiful plants. I see you do semi hydro like I do and my question is you only use Miracle Grow for your plants ? and they’re looking beautiful. I’m impressed.
I use a smart power bar so I can plug in three grow lights, two fans, and a humidifier. Each outlet on the bar is individually controlled/scheduled and it only takes up one wall outlet.
@@luciansteph About a year, I had to replace my previous smart plugs that stopped working after about 2-3 years. It was more cost effective to get a smart bar instead of several individual smart plugs! 😊
@luciansteph but it may start to decline. Maybe you can give it a root cut. I have no experience with pothos root cut🤔 but with my monstera I did it and it was absolutely fine..love your videos
@litalfrenkel1024 you’re right. eventually I’ll have to repot or else the plant will decline. When i see stress, I will repot. In the mean time , I’m trying to delay that as much as I possible so the plant can fit in my space. I also chop it back to keep it less thirsty. Pothos are also quite resilient so I know can tolerate it . I wouldn’t do this with a more delicate plant. 😅Thanks for watching and keep the tips coming. 🤗🪴
“And I have learned my lesson really well with Hoya” “ leave it in hereeee, it doesn’t matter just leave it in here” Literally SAME!! I been fighting the urge to report when it doesn’t really need it 😅😂
I used to struggle rooting Hoya also. Then I tried the humidity bag trick. IT WORKS! Try putting in a plastic bag to root or place in a lidded clear storage bin (prop box). The uncreased humidity will let that baby root like a champ.
I killed 3 tetraspermas and I don't know how many pepperomia's. I want to try a watermelon pepperomia again but I also don't want to waste my money and time.
I know what you mean. Our growing environments may be good for some plants but not others. 🤷🏽♀️ So it’s good to know when to call it quits on certain plants. 🪴
I have several hoya, but if I had to pick just two they would be my Wyentii varigated and my Austrilias'Lisa'. I purchased a very tiny unrooted cutting if the Heuschkeliana inner varigated recently. I am really hoping it gets some roots. It is such a beautiful hoya.
Many thanks for sharing all these beautiful Hoyas! Your Hoya Joy Splash is on my wishlist and “yes” I do drop my plants from time to time even when I’m trying to be careful. 😵💫. Take care! 👌🪴🥰
Love all these beautiful Hoyas and the inserted pictures you use where you show what you hope they grow to be. 🥰. Great idea! I can’t always find a picture of a specific mature Hoya plant so your visuals are a great help to me. Thank you very much! 👌🪴🥰
Have you used the Mollys succulent and cactus on your Hoyas? I didn’t know what to get for mine so that is what I ordered. If you did…does it work well for Hoyas?
Many thanks for this fun plant shopping video! The Home Depot and Lowe’s in my area have a fairly good selection of houseplants. I got my Hoya Rosita from Home Depot in May of 2024 and she is pushing out growth nicely. Happy growing! 👌🪴🥰
Thank you I love love hoya content❤ these 10 hoyas you shared are sooo beautiful but very hard to get our hands on in Barbados but iam hopeful as i just got the heurschkeliana inner variegated very very tiny but with care i will try. The hoya DS - 70 looks just like burtoniae varigated. Thanks for sharing love it.❤❤
🇧🇧 my 2nd home 🤗. Hopefully eventually they’ll start to make the way down there. When they do you’ll have an amazing time growing them because that lovely hot weather down there would make them thrive. Yes the DS-70 and Burtoniae variegated are the same. Good catch. Thanks for watching 🤗
This has got to be the best well organized plant shop I've ever seen down to organizing pots in tones. I would love shopping these and your prices are good as well. Whoever runs this shop knew how to organize and categorize every plant just so so..a true perfectionist at heart. They also put great care into caring and watering them as well. It is not your average big box store for sure. I just loved to see this place. It just made me smile the first minute the camera was rolling :)) Thank you for the tour!
Loved this video. I have a few that I can't live without..Sarawak borneo, Chelsea, Sunrise, Krimson queen 💙. Just to name a few 😂. There's alot more but I will leave room for someone else 😅. Great personality!
Great choices. There’s plenty of room here for Hoya love. List as many as you’d like. It also gives the rest of us ideas of plants to add to our Wishlist. 😆😉 Thank you for watching. 😊🪴
Put your Hoya in some moss and make it moist and put it in a closed box for a while. I hope that would help. I think it would do not like to be transplanted. I have gone through pretty much the same thing.
Thanks for the tip. I find moss hard to get off the roots when it’s finally rooted. I’ve been trying much better success in water and extremely high light lately.
It's so hard but my list is: 1. Heushklieana inner Variegated 2. Thai Sunrise 3. Wilbur graves 4. publicalyx splash 5. publicalyx pink silver ghost 6. krimson queen 7. kerrii splash 8. guning gadang 9. Krinkle 8 10. Ranauensis I need a hoya intervention at this point 😊
