I just bought a liberty safe. I thought it had a lifetime warranty. I got it home and had to pay Liberty $172 after taxes to warranty the lock which will someday fail.
Nice pry resistant safe. Even at 12 gauge, good for them for keeping the cost down cause a cutting crew that knows what they’re doing will be able to cut in regardless. And those crews aren’t usually going around hitting residences for the plebs like you and me. Layer your security. This was the biggest news event of the decade in the safe industry! Maybe it was just an employee that was afraid as soon as the person on the phone said "we are the FBI". But they should have apologized...a lot of companies offer to delete your information from their registry but you have to call them and request it.
Screw Liberty Safes! I’m glad I waited to upgrade my old liberty for a new and bigger safe. I went with an Ironworks. American made and best of all they support 2A rights through and through and don’t donate to the anti 2A mob in Washington. Oh and they won’t give out the combination to the government just because they ask for it.
I don’t care whether they change their policy in terms of providing combinations to the Feds or not, the fact that they are funding the party that stands for eliminating the 2nd Amendment rights of American citizens is a strong enough reason to boycott them for me.

It’s a fantastic safe, one of the best on the market for the price. When I was researching your company though, I learned about some things. Not just the issue with providing law enforcement with safe codes without a warrant - I can overlook that. Assisting law enforcement, even in a misguided way, is at least admirable in some respects. What bothered me was the continuous political donations of Monomoy Capital Partners, totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars, to fundamentally anti-LIBERTY and anti-American politicians. You’ve entered the wrong business. Would love to see Monomoy divest from what was once a great American business and is now a disgrace.
Liberty Safe shouldn't have to apologize for assisting with the search warrant process involving the investigation of a domestic terrorist. I personally believe terrorists should be investigated to the fullest extent of the law. I love how the gun community says they're law-abiding, but then when something like this happens, the law, the crimes, and the investigation don't matter. This Nathan person fought against the valid election of a US president and joined an unruly and deadly mob. As far as I'm concerned, terrorists have no rights.
