Car audio is my passion and hobby. It's not my full time job. I do it for fun, take my time and get it done right the first time. Tune every system for the user, not me.
Where are you located? Theses shops here in MD keep telling me they can't install my new radio because it didn't cone with a aux cord, so it's no way to hook up the sound
What harness did you use to bypass the JBL AMP? There are 3 plugged into the JBL AMP, what did you do with them? Splice? I have a 2017 Taco w JBL and wanted to bypass the JBL AMP to connect my alpine amp. I have aftermarket head unit and speakers. Thanks!
2 questions. Did you keep Bose and if so, what did you use to integrate it? And what speaker adapters are those for the front woofers? Thanks man! Sick build.
Love the truck man. Just got one myself. They changed up the screws location on my rear door handles. Had to access from the bottom instead of the top! Thanks for the vid
Hello, good afternoon, could you help me? I have a Tacoma 2019 with JBL audio. Can you send me links to everything I need to completely change my audio
Beautiful job Patrick. Can you share any details about the subwoofer setup? I'm curious how you set up the enclosure and the two 3" ports. I have a cts-v coupe that I want to add a trunk sub to. Thanks.
This is a nice setup. I'm late to the watching, but I appreciate you uploading the video. Just purchased a 2021 Tacoma TRD-Off Road premium and I can't stand this "upgraded" JBL system. My question is, do you still have all the features from the factory deck on the new deck (i.e. rear view camera, etc). Definitely want maintain my usb port
Awesome set up, I have a 2021 with the JBL and definitely disappointed. What kind of price point would you put this at? Just a rough estimate to get an idea so my local shop doesn't rip me off.
Polk is the speakers I prefer over any other for the sounds, as Kicker for the bass!~ An I gotta ask hows the truck handling up electrical wise? I am going to be adding a CXA360.4 as well to my CXA1200.1 for the sub, but I will only use the front channels as I do not care for the rears.
Just picked up a Taco with jbl system and it has absolutely no balls....🤦🏽♂️ can't believe toyota upsells this crap in their cars. my 06 civic sounds louder...stock
Why would you take the factory radio out? It takes a lot of the functionality of the truck with the radio. Like the lights control, door chimes, climate control settings, navigation, location, smart phone start, ect

I have the jbl in the 23 solar octane pro tacoma and I’m not satisfied with it but I don’t want to make big changes or mods so any changes I make are hopefully just to the speakers and tweeters. Any suggestions?
Do the original volume knob and buttons under the screen still work? I bought a metra kit for my truck and it came with blanks to fill the holes for those knobs amd buttons 🤔
Also.... Can you cut the plastic behind the infotainment system to make room for a new stereo? Or do you have to use a set up where the screen is seperate from the brain? I know pioneer has a few options for this. But can u cut and make room for different stereos or no?
