Revamped System Configuration
2 sets of Polk Audio DB6501 Mids and Highs
Really upset they are not making these any longer. Best sounding mids and highs in the price range.

I've been doing the kicker kss 6504 . Hart to find a tweeter that matched the sound of the Polk Db. The Rockford looks the closest spec wise. But I'm just not a Rockford fan.

Never have. I don't do car audio full time any more. It's my passion and hobby, I enjoy it more that I don't have to rely on it for income.

Just installed a sub in mine. The trunk is so insulated I can’t hear the bass in the cabin lol. What did u do to allow trunk air into cabin? I see some people removing stock subwoofer to allow flow.

I have an 07 S550 and the car is amazing but the OEM audio system and lack of bluetooth A2DP streaming really kills a car of this quality. I would love to bring my S550 to you and have you install something so I can do bluetooth A2DP and add a subwoofer and amp in the trunk and port the rear deck. I see you are in Vegas, I live up in Utah and I am in Vegas 1-2x a month. How can I get in touch with you?

You can't. Thats why you use a sound processor like the alpine or helix. High level into the processor. Then you can signal sum and adjust the sound they way you want to achieve a good signal.

@@728patman Hello Thank you so much for replying I have Audio control Lc71 to processor and I running 2 kicker amps 4 Channel cxa3oo and mono cxa1200.1 for the sub ,I see the wonderful job you did on the wiring in the S class I have a 2008 S 550 4matic

@@christophercooper7881 i would suggest the DM-608. You need a little bit more control of the signal summing due to the factory crossover in the factory amp. Im going to predict hollow spots in your mids and highs. I know its a little bit more expensive but you will be much happier with the outcome. @patman702 on ig or fb page clearimageaudio if you want to see more systems.

@@728patman I have a 2009 s550. The radio comes on & off and I can’t figure out what’s the problem for the life of me. I hate to send it to the dealer for radio issues but the shops my way (MEMPHIS TN) seem to know nothing about a Mercedes.

Next to the battery behind the back trim in the trunk is the fuse box. The empty row on the passenger side has a couple switched accessory slots. Put a spade on a one side of a blade fuse and put the other side of the fuse into the mercedes fuse block. Probably a purple or blue wire in the video.
