It looks like the servo is turning to far and hitting the springs. Could cause the servo to over heat might be the problem. Would it be possible to see a blue print of some kind? I love the build!
Sorry, I don’t have any blueprints of the build. I put a different servo horn on it which would not let the servo hit the springs. Thanks for your comment!
It's awesome I am about to do the same I'm playing with ideas for my own....perhaps a tube chassis made of welded brake lines but I also grabbed copper and aluminum tubes as well
Jonathan Scott Thanks, I just put a velineon brushless system in it. I’m gonna upgrade it a little bit this summer. I would like to find a slash 4x4 roller to build up and put under the raptor body.
Island RC -Duke Thanks! It takes a lot of getting use to driving while filming at the same time! My future videos should hopefully be better! Thanks for watching!
Greeeen cat yup. It took quite a while. Check out Rubin Appleton on RU-vid he inspired me to build it. I’m in the process of making a Chevy Silverado chassis out of aluminum also. I’ll have a video up on that hopefully within a month or so. Thanks for watching
Greeeen cat no sorry I don’t. I’m 75% finished with the Silverado chassis I’m working on. It is solid axle with leaf springs in rear and independent front suspension. I have to tidy up a few more things on it then I’ll be finished. I hopefully will have a video out really soon. Just waiting on some more parts.
While I have yet to try their LiPO batteries, I have sampled their NIMH batteries. For being a budget battery, I was impressed with it. It did as good or possibly better than my Venon packs!
PNW RC so far they have been great. I have not had any issues. Although the 2s say 100c discharge I would say it’s more like 50c which is still pretty good.
PNW RC thank you!! I’m making a 1/10 Chevy chassis like the drift car. It’s going to have a solid axle and leaf springs in the back. And ifs in the front. There will be a video on that soon so stay tuned if you want to see that. Thank you
Void X RC yes thats nice they come with the tester. I noticed you subscribed to me and I’m very grateful of that. That was very nice of you, thank you!! I’m going to try to upload more I’ve just been very busy lately working on all my RC projects. I just want to get them all done. Thank you
3DPrinting Creative That would be cool you should make a RU-vid video on it I’d love to see it. Right now I’m working on a crawler project with independent front suspension on it and a solid rear axle I’m making like a Chevy 2500 chassis.
Sequentialed it depends. If it’s really dirty I will separate it into 3 parts (front, Chassis, and transmission/suspension) and take the electronics out. I will then hose it off and scrub on it with a brush and soapy water. When it’s dried off I will take a rag and some wd40 and wipe it off to give the plastics a shine. And oil the bearings. I usually do a deep cleaning like that 1-3 times a year. If I’m just running it in dirt I will clean the motor and spray it off with a air compressor. Hope that helps
