Sweet raptor. A tip for those eBay wheels/tires is to glue them. They don’t come glued to the wheel when you buy them and it seems that your rear left side tire is starting to separate from the wheel.
Jonathan Scott Thanks, I just put a velineon brushless system in it. I’m gonna upgrade it a little bit this summer. I would like to find a slash 4x4 roller to build up and put under the raptor body.
Sequentialed it depends. If it’s really dirty I will separate it into 3 parts (front, Chassis, and transmission/suspension) and take the electronics out. I will then hose it off and scrub on it with a brush and soapy water. When it’s dried off I will take a rag and some wd40 and wipe it off to give the plastics a shine. And oil the bearings. I usually do a deep cleaning like that 1-3 times a year. If I’m just running it in dirt I will clean the motor and spray it off with a air compressor. Hope that helps
I saw racks on the real raptors and decided I would try. I saw your video at the skate park and saw your rack on the back did you copy me? If you did I’m glad I’m giving people ideas. Yours looks good.
Erik's Hobbies Yeah I did. Except I used glue and it didn’t work out too well. Basically the glue kept coming undone. So I decided to try to put screws in it but I broke the rack because I didn’t know how to do it. Also the body is messed up from the glue.
I’m glad I’m giving people ideas. I used glue two at first and it kept popping off. And I finally just drilled holes into the body to screw it in and it worked I was a little hesitant at first to drill holes but I’m glad I did it. I would suggest making sure to thread the screws into the piece to make sure it’ll work before you drill holes in your body if you decide to do it.
