Yeah aehy saw that massive White Pointer out front of Altona Gate Shopping Centre in an iceblock through April 1987 it was massive must have been 7m, yeah in 1996 my fiancée Samantha and aehy were snorkelling around Gipps Island Nth QLD and when the tourists all of us had returned to the boat some guy started doing bombs off the top of the boat from the cabin so aehy joined in then after around 11 bombs each God said tombey "Doing" aehy quizzed "What are we doing?" God said "Attracting sharks" aehy jumped in again, aehy just got my foot out of the water and aehy spotted a 5m White Pointer around 1.2m away go under the boat moving my guess is say 50kph then aehy thought "Stay on the boat" God said "It heard you but Aehy fucked up it's radar".
I used to volunteer at CWS pre-pandemic and one of the great delights was when the lorikeets would flock in numbers. Some days, you could get as few as one or two, and others there'd be a hundred or more. One word of advice if you are planning a visit - the birds come in big numbers when there have been recent rains washing the nectar out of their wild supply. They especially depend on the free afternoon feed when it also has been a very hot day.

Australia has lost it's way! The Australian government cares more about tourist money then people lives. A good example of this are people who have lost their lives to crocodile attacks. There are a number of people in Australia who want to cull crocodiles but can't because of ridiculous government regulations. Crocodiles and Great Whites and Tiger Sharks are beautiful animals but I believe that people come before animals. Like Vic Hislop said "If you take away a sharks natural food what is left for them to eat?" Dun dun dunnnnut!

You cannot simply say sharks are endangered animals, protect them and throw away the key on further action. Their numbers need to be monitored and controlled. All endangered species need to be protected, but obviously Dugons and Turtles are more endangered than sharks, so if dugong and turtle numbers decline due to excessive shark predation, then the sharks need to be dealt with quick smart. You have to take a balanced approach to protect ALL these endangered animals.
