Beautiful scenery, and the speed fantasy is lovely, but… running the red light at 6:13, endangering not only yourself but your fellow human beings in a tight spot on a mountainside, is the perfect clue to how stupid and self-centered you guys must actually be. I guarantee you no one would think less of you if you acted more responsibly.
I don’t believe this not at all. Never in my lifetime of being an event photographer cycleing 3,235 events in 47 states 302,570 miles with over 900,000. Cyclists have I ever heard or seen descending any mountain fast then 58 mph or hear of anyone descending faster then 58 mph. A few tandem’s have. I did not hear where or what road this took place.
hey Safa! This vids are awesome, how do you get your speed/pwr/route into the videos? Is it some kind of Garmins plugin? Would love to hear from you, greetings
Right around 8:00 is a f***ing epic view. The three elements: you, the road and shrubbery flying by, and the mountains just sitting there and not moving.
I did this descent two years ago, same fog on top (around noontime), same pleasure after the twisty section, an easy 70kmh with great bends and what a view ! A descent to remember !
climbed and descended this when i was 12. think i hit 42 right ahead of my dad. vividly remember not cutting the tangent right and had to jump off road for a split second. im 22 now and getting back on my single speed
The fact that the stated goal is a QOM and then you proceed to get paced by and draft two men just blows my mind. How do you do this, shoot a video of it, and then upload it and think it’s a good idea? I hope Kate is laughing wherever she is.
Beautiful video and incredible descending skills, but it's funny how you complain about cars taking more than their lane and cyclists cutting corners on ascent, when you yourself cut corners and cross the line constantly, even when going into fairly blind corners. I know what your channel is all about, but I think this style of descending should be reserved for closed roads and races. Not only do you put yourself into danger, but you endanger other cyclists and give us as a community a bad name.
Nice video ! Does someone know how to record all the stats of the ride so that they can be displayed on the screen exactly the same as in the video (with current speed, elevation profile, position on the map...) ? Thanksss
When accelerating out of a hairpin and standing on the pedals, is the rhythmic mechanical noise the chain rubbing on the front derailleur? If so the frame must be flexing?
Love your vids bro you go to places I wish I can go to and just ride your always getting beautiful views keep up the work man been watching you for years 😊
