If you're on the fence between the two, then choose Dentistry, hands-down. No residency required, come out of school making $150k+, 9-5 hours, easy job security, unlimited earning potential, etc. Medicine is also a great field, but it's a huge grind. A GP dentist has far more earning potential than a GP doctor

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I am an international dentist about to graduate from a CODA accredited program in California for international dentists. My dream has been to become an orthodontist and unfortunately I did not match this year, which was devastating news.
