lol, syrobe is a good guy who I learned even before I play the game. I do need to go through some iterations to make it work. Hope that process can add some value. Anyway, confirmed this works and is fun.
I am not in NG++ yet, but if there is way more HP on the bosses, it will not work. May need some tweaks. I plan to practice see through using smash stance for my NG++.
Technically it is not. I can’t control what the duplicates are doing, but for my character it is one smash. Anyway, a bit exaggerated but it was a fun run for me. Cheers!
In my NG+ playthrough, I haven't really started one-shotting until chapter 3. For yellow wind sage boss, I was using the same calling duplicates twice and heavy attacks. Wind Tamer vessel can deal with the wind, which can help when the boss does that.

I gave Boosteroid a try the other day because my PC couldn’t handle anything, and honestly, it’s a solid option for anyone with a weaker system. I played without any lags or problems-pretty cool experience.
Do you mean when the tornado from the platain fan hits, the boss will be staggered, and during the time we can cast our spells? This sounds like a good idea! I rely on cloud step to do that while we have the invibisibility.
I didn't wear white mask. Only using the norm buff (07:40). I was trying to do no hit on that boss, so I went pretty much all for defense. If you have trouble with the boss, don't use howl of shabriri (I actually have no option for a replacement here as it is spell damage). Then wearing heavier armor is going to help a lot.
@@casualgg I'm not sure how i posted this comment on the wrong video but I actually meant on your cross naginata bleed build while you were fighting that boss you were basically face tanking him.
@@drewskii3289 haha, I see. That video was at the beginning of the DLC, when I was not very familiar with the boss mechanics. I was using the IronJar aromatic, which prevents us from rolling but gives us a ton of defense. When you see the body is covered like melted iron, the effect is active. It is a very good defense mechanism there. With this aromatic, we probably can wear anything.
Sorry I didn't record the build. I was using kang-jin staff, maximized a pluk of many, smash stance, some points into survival with health, crit hit chance. Very basic. Good luck.
Oh, no, by any chance you tried to put on golden carp curios and skull of turtle treasure helmet? Also, if you already have 3 in the inventory, you might no be able to get more (need to confirm).
@casualgg yes both but honostly I wasn't sure if that was just for materials or if it raised the odds on this kind of stuff too. Wearing it just in case anyways but still no luck so I moved on at 200 attempts. I figured I'd circle back to it so I don't want to burn out on 1 thing just being stubborn. Thank you, them are some bad odds, worse then the fire swords I elden-ring lol or maybe I just hit it at a bad time. Will update when I get lucky, thanks for checking in and for the list 👍
@@Cander617 That's true. The description only mentioned better drop chance for materials, but folks keep suggesting wearing them. Well, if getting more mind cores, which is not bad. In Elden Ring, we can wear Silver Scarab, boost arcane, and eat some Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot to increase discovery. Luckily fire knight sword was not too bad for me. I really hope you get it!!!!
@casualgg agreed, and tbf I did get like 8-10 mind cores while farming him, tho of course I'm hoping to see something else in the notifications place. Yes, the fire swords wasn't all that bad for me either, but I had heard horror stories before I tried, and it took a little while but manageable(bout 30 mins). I stopped tonight right before Erlang because I heard he's a pain in the ass and I didn't want to go to bed annoyed and beaten 😂 Have a goodnight
@@casualgg I've done the first bosses in ng++ and the fight doesn't feel like it does in ng+, they're harder and their HP increases, I don't know if it will vary between bosses or if it will all be in goal, if so then it becomes a very aggressive challenge again lol
@@steel7607 Nice heads up. I am also planning to learn some other stances and skills such as see through. Maybe these can bring the HP down a bit, and then smash, or vise versa.
Golden Set with immobilize/appa bat is easy mode Iron Bull King Set w/ Dark Iron Staff on bosses that resist it still easy mode Pilgrim/Centipede Spellbinder build is still easy mode All of these work well on NG++ Cleared all of Ch1&2 in just over 3hrs switching between these build with my only death to Mad Tiger cause of horrific frame rate drops NG++ is still plenty easy just not as face roll as NG+ I'm already halfway through Ch3 with no issues, you just have to adapt and adjust. Should know the fights and mechs by the time you're in NG++
People are kinda annoying me by saying "i hate how its so hard to get. Took me over an hour". Just wear the helmet that increases drop chance and use the Golden carp curio that also increases the drop rate. And if youre on NG+ u can have TWO which further increases the drop rate. Got my beast buddha in like 4 tries by doing this
@@azkray I almost gave up. But it happened. Just need the celestial pear seed and one more playthrough for bull armour for plat. Some advice, NG+ is generally easier imo. Didn’t die once except Erlang
@fauxinfinity7625 nice! That’s should be a good feeling. NG+ feels like really fun before tougher challenges later. We farmed a lot of stuff in NG, NG+ is gotta feel better! Just uploaded a video of defeating Erlang in one smash….
im sick of the transformation cutscene to properly figure out how to dodge the onslaught of transformation attacks. also half the time im using gourd when safe, it kinda doesn't happen. not sure if that's my keyboard or game is denying me
honestly I found chapter 5 much easier to get them from the flame mages in raksashi palace. Farmed this spot for hours got nothing. Farmed chapter 5 got a couple in a very short time.
I prefer the great katana because of the increased bleed procs and it even procs bleed with this ash of war when you infuse it with cold because of the innate bleed. Bleed plus frost destroys everything.
@@casualgg the great katana is amazing, I'm actually testing now and actually you're right, I think the blood flame is better, it does a lot more damage but I'm sticking with the great katana and it's bleeding like crazy. I think it just comes down to if you prefer bleed over base damage.
@@johnmirra6707 Exactly. Bleed and base damage is always a trade-off by design. Cheers. I think I have a video using great katana with repeating thrust, which I like a lot.
Sorry I didn't record the build. I was just naturally making process without farming exp. Put as many points as you can into smash stance and a pluck of many. Rest are optional. The key is to be able to dodge at least a few times. Use a pluck of many at the every beginning, and red tides. Good luck.
@@1secondlate Sure. In the skill point under foundation, and survival. There is a spiritual awakening node to increase maximum mana. Or drink some medicine to increase maximum mana. Or equip thunderflame seal(s), which needs to be farmed. This video shows best route to farm it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dyssymp_VZw.html
@@1secondlate If it is hard to get mana for a pluck of many, you can also try to use cloud step. You will be undetectable for a few seconds. Charge to 3 focus points, and hit him with a heavy attack.
The first build uses bloodflame blade, which triggers the blood loss. As the weapon is quality infused, which is not scaling with arcane. Hence, arcane will not increase blood loss build up in this case.
For phase 1&2, if we keep engaging him by ourselves, a pluck of many or spirit, he will not do anything. Especially in phase 1, if we do enough damage, phase 2 will be very short.
