@@MichaelsFishRoom my pH is between 7.2 and 7.6 no nitrates in the water no chlorine temperature in the tank is between 78 and 80. I clean my tanks once a week. I change 1/ third of the water I feed them live Brian shrimp three times a day
Hello Michael! I am confused on why everything is measuring ok except my Nitrites. Ph is 7.4, Ammonia is 0, Nitrates are .50-1.0 &Nitrates are about a 5.0. My tank has been cycling for 6 weks. No fish yet. I want to upgrade my nano to a 10 gallon but I will kill my fish. Help please.
I’ve had those filters three of them already only because I wanted to stop doing it and started doing it and give away which I regret but they’re great

Two of my guppies in quarantine dropped some fry which I removed from the tank and put them in their own tank. I am treating the mothers with Fritz's para cleanse because they have worms. Since they had worms while pregnant does that mean that the babies will automatically have them? Can I or should I put para cleanse in with the fry?
I have a question... My one female guppy gave birth to a bunch of fry which I separated into their own tank. But, she had white stringy poop/worms and died. Should I be assuming that the fry will have worms and treat them? If so, with what? I wish that you were local...I bought five female guppies from Petco and they all died within 5 days. I currently have a pregnant female guppy giving birth in a quarantine tank that I was about to treat with expel P In case they have red worms like the five guppies that died from a different batch. This pregnant guppy that is giving birth currently was treated with para cleanse and did have white worms coming out of her. As soon as the fry are born I will move them in with the other fry. The other fry are maybe 10 days old? Is it okay to put them together?
Beautiful guppies, i make sure im in the house once the package arrive at phoenix area..its summer here but gladly everything i ordered was healthy and good! Bcs it handle to me directly by courier i also put a note on mailbox that i was home and knock...otherwise u get the box at usps theyre not allowed live fish to stuck at frontdoor!
@@MichaelsFishRoom why not? They like being in 10-20 gallon tanks with no decor or substrate? Are they breeders? Or is that a pet shop you run were you sell em? I mean I thought fish like that needed 100 gallon tanks at least!
@@SYHOZHO One tank is a 50-gallon that gets 20% WC a day. The smaller tank is 20g and also gets 20 WC daily. You cannot keep anything in the tank with a FH, they will destroy it.

I’ve heard about them just newish to the hobby I have 2 angels, 2 balas, 7 albino bristle nose plecos, 1 sailfin spotted pleco couple different snail species, couple shrimp and few other goodies(guppies etc), all in my 80 gallon. I’m waiting for my tiger moray eel to show up on my doorstep this week! I just got a 125 gallon to switch everything over been cycling for a week now. All live plants and “aquascape themed” I’m really into that. I would never get a fish that can’t be with other fish or destroys everything sounds like the fish just isn’t fun lol maybe to you! Anywho have a good one my man! P.s.p.s - I’ll be upgrading from 125 gallon to 150-200 just depends on the eel. Been a goal of mine to get this tiger eel. So stoked!!! I’ve been breeding plecos now and it’s a lot of fun. They produce so many fry! Have 6 tanks set up for that just recently got a female and male L046 so that’ll be fun!

Hey Michael I set up a 75 I bought from a guy and put the filter media in a bucket with water. Set the tank up tested the water and it was showing .25 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate. Is it possible I’m just having to do a mini cycle? Or does it sound like the beneficial bacteria died and I’m at square one?

Not sure if it's what I'm battling. My false juliis are tje only fish that seem affected. They are loosing all their black & turning white. Once far enough I've lost 2 now. My one also look like some kind of mouth rot. Aquarium salt has seemed to soothe it. Gills are a little red on the juliis as well. I also have glass catfish - endlers -otos - & pgymys. Everyone seems good. Possibly the pygmys paling now. . Heavily planted tank. Tomorrow is a deep clean of tje tank. I plan on dipping my plants & changing their soil. They're all potted. I have several medications on hand.. melafix seemed to do nothing. Methylene blue & aquarium salt baths separately I think is what's kept them alive. I also have kanaplex, paraguard, api fin & body cure (doxy) & jungle fungus clear (nitrofurazone) I'm just not sure which to use. I really want to save these juvenile fish I adore 😢
Hi Michael, they are amazing, I’m currently breeding some blue, purple dragons. Important question, I will be dealing with customers personally, whom may or may not have any experience in the hobby. Is it my responsibility to ask if they have a cycled tank? How would you go about this? I just don’t want them to come back upset that the fish died when I know it’s not an issue on my end. Great looking fish. I love looking at the high quality lines. As soon as it cools off a little here I will be putting in an order for some of your mutts. Made a mistake a couple of weeks ago and bought a few from a big box store. They looked ok. Came home and put them in the hospital tank. One after another died from a different illness (after 20+ years of keeping fish I found new illnesses I never even experienced before). Only left with one male pink tuxedo --- calling him superman for making it through, but still not trusting him in my main tank.

I’ve been too scared to order guppies and plecos in this heat. I’m in south Alabama now and it’s hot as balls here too. I’m waiting for fall to order. You can’t even get overnight to my rural location. I’d have to pick up at a shipping facility.
