Hey, very nice setup. I’m interested in the same thing. Could you tell me the dimensions of the pannier racks on Ali espress? I’m interested in the 48-liter Rhino ones. I want to see if they are compatible or if they are too large. Have you thought about whether you could do without the straps over the top of the seat and place them under the seat, or maybe modify them and attach them to the screws of the pannier racks? I’m very interested in your opinion. Best regards and thanks a lot.
Just did the exact same thing using your video as a sort of "parts list" 😊 Got myself a yoshi copy too 👍 got her all fitted up, now just need the rain to stop 😂
It would be good to hear your feedback after you use these bags on a trip mate, and if you've had to fight with the removal of them. Thanks for the video. Cheers!
Hi mate thank you for watching. I've ridden this bike all the way from 100 to 158km/h and haven't felt any instability or vibration as some of the reviews claim. Being a small displacement I do notice when I load more weight in terms of pulling power. That being one of the reasons I'm sticking to the 14t sprocket. Perfect gearing for going offroad.
@@hein3g Hi mate, thanks for your response however, I was refering to the muffler and it now being louder. I am wondering if it is not overbearing at a constant high engine rpm ?
@@150_ADVenture Got ya , 'load' - 'loud'. Yes it is a bit overbearing at constant speed, but you can buy a insert to quiet it down for those long road trips.
Gday mate, thanks for the video, wondering how you're liking the Yoshimura Pipe? It sounds great on the vid. I was thinking maybe that the spring could be inverted so as the ends of the springs would not dig into the muffler body, only a suggestion. 😊
Hello from Spain! Great and useful videos! Thanks! I bought the same bike and I'm choosing a rack made of plates vs tubes. I am planning to use soft bags. I suppose the brackets made of tubes can protect the exhaust pipe during a fall. Have you thought about protecting the bike? Are you comfortable using these plates?
@@chivascap Thank you for watching. So far I have not had a big fall yet, and if I do I will probably scratch the exhaust a lot and if pannier bags are fitted will probably bend the mounting brackets. The tube design looks stronger because of the tube that runs around the rear bracing on the bracket on the other side. Was going to see where my contact points are when the crashbars are fitted. I will look into it and see what I'm going to do.
@@150_ADVenture Hi mate, thank you for watching. It's actually better than I thought. Pairing it to my cardo also works better than pairing to the bike. And because my phone is paired to the bike ,my steering controls still works. It's only the volume I still have to do from the cardo unit itself, which I am currently using anyway.Pre-downloading offline maps also works great. So,so far it was worth the price.
@@EddyOtway Hi Eddy and thanks for watching. You don't need it, it's just an ocd thing for me to keep it's original shape. I want straight lines on the seams.
Hi Mate and thank you for watching. If you look in the description below you will find the links to the accessories used. I used the MTC-13 model. Thank you
Hi Diablo, and thank you for watching. I haven't used mine without the racks, but I think they will be very floppy and loaded with weight I don't think that is something you want. That will affect the handling of the bike. You would also want to keep them away from going under the rear wheel arch.
@@javierc2726 Thank you for watching, yes you are correct. Cheaper alternative to gps for those not wanting to spend the extra money. For now I can use it downloading offline maps when there's no cellphone signal, until starlink is up and running.
Having a satnav ram mounted makes too much leverage on the bar. I’ve done similar using a rather heavy android phone with a large battery. Sikaflexed a amps mount to the back to provide a near flush mounting held on with thumb wheel screws to the bike mount. I leave the bike at meets etc. figured if someone has enough time to work out how to remove it, I’ll take it off myself
@@briancummings4912 Thanks for your feedback and can see that being a issue with the arm extension. This unit being a cheap buy there is not much to it to be honest, doesn't weigh much. So I will see how it goes. Just don't want my phone on the handlebar flopping around and exposed to rain. This unit is cheap, a phone not so cheap.
@@kostiantynlevchenko5415 Thank you for watching. On the theft side of things I think the only alternative is to use the provided arm so it's removable but will flop around being so far extended. The one wanting to steal this will break the unit and the bike if he really wants it that bad.
@@150_ADVenture Hi Mate. I honestly cant fault anything on this bike. Everything is of same quality as all the well known brands out there. In some cases I find the Cf moto went the extra mile with clever thoughts... Like the adjustable screen, simple but clever.Just makes the overall product so much harder to ignore, especially for the price.
@@150_ADVenture Thanks for watching mate. If you go to my channel, I have a video of tank and pannier bags. Might help you get an Idea. And in all my videos I ad the links in the description below for the accessories I used. Thanks🙏🏼
@@hein3g brilliant mate. Looking forward to watching them. I am looking at buying one of these bikes and am going for a look this weekend. It's great you're sharing your resources with the WWW for others to benefit from. 🙏🏽
Hi mate, thanks for watching. I ordered this plate a long time ago and didn't get round to fit it. At the time there was not a lot of options and I did like the webbing design on the sides more than the ones available at the time. I guess I can remove all the bolts and weld it to one piece if I really want to.
I'm really considering this exhaust, not so much for the sound, but because the pipe seems to provide more space for my luggage system (Siskiyou Panniers from Giant Loop). Since I'm not a fan of louder pipes, I was wondering if you could estimate whether this one is significantly louder than the stock exhaust. I understand it has a deeper sound (which is fine!), but I don't want it to be much louder than stock. I have another question regarding the brackets. Do you think they are of good quality? Would they survive a (small) drop, such as if the bike were to fall over at walking speed? And the bags.. would do you think of that quality? Lastly, I'd like to ask your opinion on the 'water inside the subframe' issue. You seem to have more experience as a metal worker (whether professionally or as a hobby, I'm not sure), so what would you suggest as the best solution? If you're unfamiliar with the issue, please see this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y4yhW_vU9yo.htmlsi=FD1_umm_uvNNZ7xw. Once again thank you for the very clear video's!
@@cowsnorff Thank you for watching. In my opinion if you don't want it to be louder ,this would probably not be the best exhaust to go for. It does become a bit much on the longer trips. The brackets do feel quite solid for the thickness, but have to remember it is only aluminium. I personally have not dripped my bike yet with the panniers on,so I can't give you solid feedback on your question. On the frame side of things... I have noticed a couple of videos pop up from this issue. I don't see it being a too serious issue if done something about it when still early. If you already have some water in there recently, I would remove the bars and keep them upside down until dry. Ad a bit of silicone inside the hole and fit them back on the bike. Some guys I noticed drill a small hole which I personally wouldn't do as I would cross many rivers alloweing water to enter again. So yes,I recommend just keeping water out😄. Once again thank you for watching and I will upload some more videos in the near future. Time is just not on my side at the moment 😄,but I have not forgotten about my audience 🙏🏼. Thank you
Hi David, and thank you for watching. I'm using the Rhinowalk 14ltr x2 which can be seen on my other video. Please do subscribe so you don't miss future content.
You actually make great videos, I think you supposed to do the most important video, is reviewing the pros and cons as an owner, you will do a favor to a lot of futur owners, including me. I will DM you in instagram if you don't mind to ask you about some details. Big up to you
Hi Mate, Thanks for your feedback. I'm no actor and very camera shy😂... Working on it though. There are sooo many reviews out there with soo many experienced guys giving their take on the MT. But as soon as my editing skills pick up and as I get better camera gear , I'm sure I'll produce better content. I do try keep talking to a minimum so I can have a global audience instead of English only. English is even my second language, I'm sure you could tell😂.
Hi Luke, and apologies for the late response. If you have a look on my RU-vid channel you will see a tail tidy install video. There you will see I had to make an Aluminium collar to make this slip-on fit.
@@wangoprc4 Thank you for watching. I actually do lots of riding. For now I'm just commuting till it's run in. So while I'm kitting up I thought of making videos of the accessories to help people out there. As soon as the summer comes round I'll be doing lots of trips, camping + adventures accross NZ. It's just a bit cold here at the moment😄. Keep watching, I have some more goodies to go on the bike... It's just to get round fitting them...ha ha
Stupid utube algorithm. I got this vid in my feed. The factory exhaust is already on a loud side. This pipe is punk, stupid waist of money. Do full exhaust, do ecu remap, show 7 hp or something. So tired of useless, stupid shit done to bikes. I do like your soft luggage set up however. Stupid utube. Stupid humanity.
How did you know to centre the first holes to those imprinted circles on the inside? Or was it just a guess ? Or are they supposed to be markings for the racks? I'm trying to put mine on but I can't bring myself to drill and get them wrong 😂.
@@Fabiantrim Hi mate and thanks for watching. You can just measure accross the circles and get a centre point. Believe me, I also postponed as I didn't want to drill holes in the covers, Ha ha. But I convinced myself new covers can't cost an arm and a leg. Stay tuned, I have more goods to post
@@hein3g yeh very true but in the UK they barely got the bikes or genuine accessories so getting hold of these plastic parts may be a wait 😂. Did you drill a 26mm hole which the spacers are or did you give a mm or 2 extra play? Nice look forward to seeing them I'm waiting on one of Mr wangs bash plates.
