Hello@EditbySabbir, we suggest you try replacing the system and drivers first. Upgrading to a higher wattage power supply would be even better if possible.

Hello, a big fan of Chinese products here. I always wanted to purchase mini PCs from China and compared Minisforum, Beelink and Peladn. I even bought some and send them back and I ended up owning a WO-4 for home server use and a HA-4 to replace my desktop PC. Overall, with the highest prices for electricity in the world in germany, I am going to save a lot of money with these mini PCs. When you can get a good deal, whether through Chinese stores directly or an offer from Amazon the Peladn Mini PCs can be a good bargain. I paid 234€ for the WO-4 and 374€ for the HA-4. Drawback of both systems is limited IO and expandability. Both only have one M.2 slot and only the cheaper WO-4 has SATA expansion. Good thing is, that you can fit quite the thick drive in here. I tested and upgraded both systems with a Lexar 4TB NM790 M.2 drive and it worked. Both systems shipped with a 512GB drive and 16GB RAM respectively. The HA-4 was using Crucial 5600 DDR5 and a Kingston Value NVME SSDs. The WO-4 was equipped with a stick of Peladn branded memory and M.2 SSD. The memory uses Samsung chiplets but the Peladn SSD is a real bummer. Transferring many small videos the HA-4 reaches up to 850MB/s per second in real world but the Peladn SSD of the WO-4 only 600MB/s. One has to say, both systems shipped with one memory stick each. I like that solution but not everyone does. Maybe a barebones option or mutliple ram configurations would be good. I have the HA-4 with the bigger CPU model Ryzen 7840HS which does not come with the SATA port. On the board there is soldering pads for it but no connector is soldered. Probably because the PC uses the same board as the HA-4 equipped with the 7735HS which has the SATA port. A small bummer but I can live with this. For whom is the WO-4 and the HA-4? Tinkerers, people who want to save money, as well as Enthusiast. For whom is it not? Someone who wants to add an external GPU or a nice big docking station since both models don't have USB4 and no Occulink connector. Each machine comes with only one 10Gbit/s USB 3 Type C port and limited Type A ports. No RAID capabilities since there is only one slot each. So what would I wish for? A mini PC with the solid build quality of the metal HA-4 combined with the clever lid design of the WO-4 which closes with magnets. Two m.2 slots and 2 e-sata slots would be perfect. Additionaly two Type C USB 4 ports and possibly Occulink. I think current gen ryzen has enough PCIE lanes to realize that, since I have seen that in other mini PCs manufacturers. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase since it perfectly fits my use case. A mini PC with more expandability but three times the price like Beelink does not make sense to me because I could buy a well equipped laptop in that price range. I am a happy customer but there is room for improvement in public relations. The company managed to answer all my questions in the youtube comment section but I am very persistent. Regular customers want these infos in clear english language presented inside of a table on the website. You provide too little of that information. Overall WO-4 price to performance very good 8/10. HA-4 build quality 9/10 and price to performance 7/10. I like your brand and I hope to see a highend model in the near future with lower prices then the competition! PLEASE BEAT MINISFORUM^^ Customer service from Peladn RU-vid Channel is very friendly 10/10! Thanks!

Hello@arcadanilo, the reason for this issue is that NVME is not compatible with the SATA protocol. We recommend using an NGFF interface SATA hard drive instead.
Hello Peladn, the HA-4 is missing the cable to connect the SATA HDD. The WO-4 hat this tiny cable but in the box of the HA-4 is no such cable. What do I do now?
Yeah,y WO4 and HA4 arrived. Quite happy, solid build quality. A few problems for my use case but I'll get around it. Question: Does the WO-4 support ECC Ram?
@@peladn3556 I know, I jsut was wondering. The AMD chips support ECC and the Mini PCs of the competition support ECC RAM. But I isntalled Unraid on it and there is no need for ECC. TrueNAS on the other hand would need the ECC modules which makes the Minisforum or Beelink option a little more suitable for enthusiasts who wanna run TrueNAS on the mini PC. But I am quite happy with my purchase. Thanks for all your answers. One last feedback I would have to give: A better documentation of your products might lead to more sales because not everybody is as adventurous as me and wants to chat in a youtube comment section about things that should be documented :) Anyways great product, 5 stars!
Hello Peladn, I just ordered a HA-4 with 16GB and a WO4 with 16GB. I want to upgrade both. I like that you ship with a single stick of RAM. It's fair. I will need the dual channel and I want to precisely match the RAM (Timings). Problem is that it is hard to tell what kind of RAM you used. Can you disclose who is manufacturing the RAM for PELADN so i can more easily by a match for both PC.
Helle@horst555, The timing is not important, because on the mini PC you can't adjust it through the BIOS, and it has little impact on performance, you only need to match the correct memory type if you upgrade, WO4 is DDR4 3200, HA-4 is DDR5 5600, choose such a frequency as much as possible, this is determined by the CPU, and the capacity is not required, according to your budget, we have tested many mainstream brands that are compatible, such as crucial, kingston, Samsung, ADATA, and many more.
Thanks guys. Yeah, I know that it will work but I am kind of picky. ;) And I noticed most HA-4 you ship with Crucial Memory but the WO-4 comes with Peladn branded memory. I guess I will have to wait until my PCs arrive. I will then peel away your sticker to see what chips you use to match it 100%. I am a computer nerd, you know. 😂 Thanks for your quick response. Looking forward to your products. Always wanted to purchase Minisforum and Beelink but they Disappointed me. Minisforum shipped with less HDD than Advertised so I sent it back. Beelink was not available as a Barebones and I wanted to buy Barebones. But then I found your products and it is better and cheaper than the Minisforum Barebones UM790 I believe. Only drawback is you only have one M2 Slot and a little less IO. So my future dream Peladn would have the biggest Ryzen Processor, two M2 Slots, a few more Type C, one HDMI and two Displayports. One final Question: What is the Protocol behind the HA-4 type C port? Is it USB4? Thanks Guys, looking forward to my new Mini PCs.🎉 BTW the HO-4 is going to be my new home server and the HA-4 replaces my desktop computer. I am going to save so much money for Power alone. It's going to be great 😃 👍
HI @@peladn3556can you give me the exact port spec? I would like to plan on the peripherals like hard drives etc and I need to mow how much thoughput the port has. Thank you
I got that Pc it rlly cool, on apex legends low settings i get around 120fps and then after a while it goes down to 80 fps and sometimes 60-70 too and thats kinda sad because i thought the cooling system would be great..
Hello@ShortMKV, the fan operates fully during gaming sessions, which may generate some noise. Frame rates in games, especially network games like APEX, fluctuate depending on the indoor and outdoor scene. This CPU typically achieves around 70 FPS when many players are on-screen simultaneously. We tested with dual-channel memory, yielding results between 90-120 FPS. For demanding gaming requirements, we recommend upgrading to dual memory.
The evaporation chamber is very good, it helps to extinguish the temperature spike at the time of loading. plus, it is more heat-intensive, like the heat distribution cover for desktop processors.
Hello. Could you send me the size and thickness of the thermal pads inside the GPU? A picture would help a lot. I would need the thermal pad's measurement if i do buy it and the GPU happens to falls out of the warranty period years later.
Hello@zackvyle, If your graphics card is functioning normally and does not reach temperatures above 90 degrees Celsius, we do not recommend replacing it. Typically, we only recommend replacing graphics cards that have been used for more than 5 years. Thermal pads are only used on the VRAM, with a thickness usually around 1mm. The size should be manually measured based on the VRAM's location.
I tried installing the Sata cable, but it wouldn't recognize the ssd i installed no matter how much i tried, like the way I did it or how it was shown in the video. There wasn't any tutorial on how to install the sata cable correctly since the thing that's connecting the cable to the motherboard is different from the other SATA cables I've handled.
This is an all-in-one SATA cable with power supply function, because of the shooting angle, it is difficult for us to film the connection process. 😖The operation method is to pull the white buckle up, then insert the connecting cable, and then press the buckle back down, and the direction of the connecting cable refers to the video.💁
@deeptobhattacharyya3249Thank you for your reply, The front USB port represents USB 3.2, while the white port typically denotes the 1.0 specification, with noticeable differences in transmission speeds between them💬
Hello@unknown183, You can check out this video, starting from 44 seconds, on how to install an SATA 2.5 drive inside a Mini PC.😃 Links:ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IOnIHPXPWYk.html
@@peladn3556 I watched the video but that's not the PC model I have. I own the HA-4. Please make a video installing the 2.5 SATA into the HA-4 PC. Thank you!
@@unknown183 Sure! We'll produce the relevant video about HA-4 Mini PC. Please stay tuned to our channel. 🤠Just a reminder, currently only the 7735HS supports installing the 2.5 SATA. Thank you very much for your feedback and your interest in our products. 💕
The thermalpad is around 1mm thick, but I don't recommend replacing it yourself. 🙅It's advisable to check and replace it only for graphics cards older than 5 years. When replacing the thermalpad, remember to reapply thermal paste as well💁♂
