@chasemc325 love them....but I feel the 12s would have been a better choice for me. I won't be changing them due to installation costs, but if I could do it again it would definitely be 12s
As a HD owner, why not go for a more premium Adventure bike over the RE Himalayan? What appeals to you on the more rugged 450? I am a HD owner myself, I am between a few ADV bikes, the Himalayan tops my list right now. The price tag seemingly cannot be beaten for the bike RE is providing.
Thanks for this review - very helpful. I am seriously considering Xtravels for my R1250 GS - currently I am using the plastic Vario cases which weigh 7kg each when empty! Same as you, I like the simplicity of the C-Bow racks. My only concern is the proximity of the exhaust to the right hand bag - have you had any issues with heat?
I use a short windshield in the summer and taller in fall/winter/early spring and the same helmet buffeted when going shorter. Changed helmets and buffeting went away. Free test is to try to borrow better helmet that is same size as yours. In my case Shoei neotec 2 solved mine. 3 other cheap helmets made things way worse. Taller shield is a freedom shield
Elsie...love the name choice! What is a Kombi? I don't know that term. This brought back memories of the VW van we had growing up...we went camping in it...TommyG and I had a 1972 baby blue VW beetle...many moons ago, lol!
Well didn’t I just love those videos . Great to see you all chatting . Mark and Lisa are a great couple and I knew you’d be in your element with those cars . Gosh we will have to get you to one of his shows and you’ll see his amazing talent
Great work Rob. What two great people to sit down and have a talk with. Thanks to you, Lisa and Mark for letting us be flies on the wall while you had a chat.
I know a guy in Melbourne who has the same Cadillac, his is black. I did an impromptu photo session of it many years ago… a stunning and beautifully made car.
