Titanic: Honor and Glory is a Virtual Reality PC game project set aboard a complete re-creation of Titanic, utilizing Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5. It's currently a work in progress.
An off-shoot of THG is TITANIC: PROJECT 401, which aims to recreate much of the ship as a virtual Titanic museum.
Titanic: Honor and Glory aims to extensively recreate Titanic- from all the grandest public rooms to the humblest crew quarters, from the lightning rods to the keel. The exterior and interior will be modeled, allowing for full exploration with stunning 3D detail. Explore the most famous rooms like the Grand Staircase, and lesser-known areas, hidden crew areas, and the deepest, darkest parts of the ship.

Hold up, why are the propellors missing? I thought those were installed before the hull was launched, not after. Unless it was launched into what became a dry dock? But I don't see the point of that.
My only criticism is that there was at least one scene with an empty hall and the sound of a quartz wall clock. Those were invented in 1969. If they had locks they wou.d have been mechanical.
This is my favorite of the real time videos. The ASMR of the water and Classical music in the background. I love it. As tragic as the sinking is, the video with it's Music is peaceful
Olympic.. Hey little sister.. welcome to sea! So sad when thinking about it this way.. and later to think she was saying-goodbye little sister, sorry I didn’t make it in time.
This makes me feel so sad when the Titanic sank on April 15th, 1912. RIP eternal peace the 1,500 souls that perished when the Titanic sank to the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean. RIP in eternal peace Titanic and the 1,500 souls .
What fascinates me is the fact that most other ships that were around in 1912 are all gone - they’ve all been scrapped years ago - Barr the odd ship museum… but TItanic still exists - it’s rusting away at the bottom of the ocean, but it’s still here LOOOONG after most others have gone
Can’t wait to give my money to the first studio releasing a remake of Titanic AooT. And I so hope they keep the same soundtrack, and the NPCs voiceovers, a true remake and not a reboot.
Could someone please point me in the direction of getting the names of the songs that passengers reported hearing on the night of the sinking? All these tunes are very familiar (and will be in 500 years time), but I don't know the names of most of them. TIA
If Titanic hit the iceberg 1 hour later, I cannot imagine the horrors those in the boats would have witnessed (remember it was a moonless night and all many saw was a shadow against the stars (not enough for most to see it break in half)). Watch over 1000 people die in the waters.
3 years after the sinking the electric "PA" (Public Address) system was used (invented) for the first time. I always wonder how much of a difference this would have made on that fateful night, if it was available. Such a technological time in history
Thanks. Amazing detail as always. A thought out to those in Collapsible A, who's nightmare didn't end that night. They were found ~200 miles from the site, dead and decomposing. Often overlooked.
To those who have never been on a cruise ship, you have no idea how dark it is in the middle of the ocean at night. It's like you're floating in space, it's terrifying.
I think they should hi slowly the icegerg by the frontal zone and close the whater tight doors request sos with some of that small ships that i dont remember the name to go with her (titanic) and the passangers go on carpathia and titanic go tp repairs so she never sank
Good job. It's good to see the Titanic sinking as it did. That's what the people want to see. If it wouldn't have sank, as it did, nobody would remember, know or care much about the White Star ships. One thing though... As you showed the Olympic racing to the rescue, that was actually video of the Titanic on its way to the iceberg wasn't it?
I had no idea that the ship "the California" was just at the horizon when the Titanic shot it's flares in the sky and totally ignored them. What a garbage captain in that ship. You just imagine if they had rushed over, they could have easily saved a large number of lives and the loss of life wouldn't have been as extensive. It's infuriating to know...
Yeah, except it wasn't. In reality, the Californian was between 12 and 15 miles from Titanic, and even if she would have headed over as soon as the flares were reported to Lord, she would have arrived a whole 10 minutes after she sank. Californian was also a small steamship with a passenger capacity of 54.
At what point did passengers and crew know she was going down? I know that most passengers even crew thought her to be unsinkable even until her final plunge but I often wonder at what point did everyone realize they were doomed
Just imagine what the animation would be like in the next few years from now. Like in 2030 for exmaple. The 2024 one would look basic in 10 years from now
Seeing the Titanic sink in real time is so surreal. I like the captions that go with the film. It's a refreshing perspective. This story is so fascinating and tragic. Well done!
