Awesome!!! I went to see The Wailers live in concert twice in Sydney, Australia back in '89. Stayed there for 4 yrs from '88 to '91. Went to see Nelson Mandela give a speech outside the Opera House, the biggest crowd, cant believe I walked thru history!!!
Wow! I remember The Wailers played Sydney, Australia back in '89. I went to the 2 concerts, UNBELIEVABLY GREAT MUSICIANSHIP!!! Aston Barrett stood there looking up at us playing his Bass. PERFECTION!!! Junior Marvin solid like IRON MAN toting a Steinberger TransTrem headless guitar and playing those chromatic runs. WORLD CLASS GUITAR PLAYING!!! Then he cliimbed up the wire fence with his guitar still strapped on and shook hands with us. AWESOME BAND!!! MY BIG RESPECT!!! I bought their ID album weeks before those concerts. I left the album and my whole collection of cassettes, albums, videos and posters of Bob Marley and The Wailers and everything behind in Sydney when I had to return to Fiji. RIP Aston Barrett... and other members who have passed. Unforgettable Music. The Best.
