@@youautoknowjoe I figured it out since post I needed to set it to what the tires psi level should have been but it's just easier to go to kwik trip to fill it. It's been awhile since I used that air pump.
You made it look so simple when you just buttoned it up but you didn't show getting the AC condenser into the little slots on the top of the radiator I know why
its likely the BCM/ equivalent retains a certain amount of power for some systems and disables others...so whilst the battery appears ok in one way , its actually unable to give some systems the desired power IE transmission
I have this exact same car with the dent and all. Just a different interior. I'm about to fix it up good. It tends to shut off sometimes when I come to a stop. I'm going to a full tune-up on it and go from there. All in all I know it's a great car it was just sitting for a while.
I just removed the one screw on that piece and tie wrapped the metal clip. Just leave it dangling literally. Key comes out in any gear whenever I want. Problem solved. It’s been years.
You may have to use a high level scan tool to clear the airbag codes… if any airbag wires were unplugged when the battery was connected this could cause a “no response” code, however once cleared the code with not set again assuming the wiring is intact with no opens in the circuit

Yes the battery is still good, it’s an AGM battery, you can go onto interstate battery website and it will give you the proper battery group size along with the proper CCA rating
The reason there is no gasket is because these came sealed from factory with Silicone Gasket Maker RTV….the gasket is not even available at the Mazda parts, although you can get one from Oreillys…..
thanks for the video. what were the symptoms the car had to warrant a replacement of the clutch master and slave cylinder? i am having issues shifting when the car is running, but it shifts smoothly when the car is off. i have read that this is an issue clutch cylinder assembly, so i think i will replace my set as well.
I bought a tail light from autofit for my 2014 RS and the wire socket is different from what the original one. I can’t exchange it now, is there anyway i can rewire it bro ?
