Average guy doing WT because yes I try to keep my upload schedule at a vid every 2 weeks but i might not maintain it thanks to other irl commitments :/
I was getting smoked left and right by120s while i was getting 120’s unlocked on my f16c finally got them unlocked last night. Did 5 games with 6 120s per match. Did not get a single kill and 5/6 each match were locked within 10mi so it should have went pitbull and did not get a single kill with the 30 missiles i fired.
@@Spcwes1 i know, still working on it🥲 Already used to use switching to pd on my phantom with a keybond for acm back before TWS was a thing Haven't added them ever since lol
@@iPrometheanHD 2 of them, if you mean the green box that stays on until a target is locked its "Beyond Visual range" in the settings Its called ACM too :)
Pro tip: for increased hit rate, guide the missile in as far as you can before going defensive. Crank (place the radar as far to its azimuth limit as possible while maintaining soft lock) as is possible and only if a missile is headed your way should you break TWS datalink. You can also artificially enhance the lofting ability of the phoenix by taking the missile to the edge of its seeker head limit. Firing from a higher altitude also helps the missile gain and hold speed.
@@normallymute0131 already learnt the better tatics, you can check out my newest amraam video for it in action With the new update when you launch fox 3s in TWS there is a circle on locked target while missiles uses datalink to track When missile switches to own tracking the circle disappears, and you can break tws track without affecting your missiles now :)
@@Proskilljg I know about the Fox-3s. They have a pit bull range of 16km, that’s why they are so accurate. Given the stand-off distance for most phoenix launches, if you break lock immediately the IOG has a hard time estimating where the enemy is, whereas with the Amraams they are able to gain and hold they’re own lock much better due to the shorter distance before they have they’re own guidance
Ground rb already has it, but it has controversy It would 100% be good idea for air though, afterburners in the dark looks cool, and with the marker above all players it can work
Got my first nuke the other day. I’m new and have less than 200 hours played so needless to say I was stoked. On my way to the battlefield while trying to stay low to avoid radar… I clipped a tree 1.5 kilometers away and crashed…. every time I think about it I get sick to my stomach Edit: I finally redeemed myself with the new Object 775
The middle transitions were a little messed up as the audio somehow got jumbled up on export, and i didn't notice😅. Sorry about that i will try to avoid it in future
Don't unlock radar tracking for SARH missiles if the enemy chaffs on pulse radar, the missile will track on a pulse doppler effect and ignore the chaff if you keep a lock on the chaff that was dropped after the missile was fired
Well i never thought i could finish the grind as well, with my school as well, but turns out 1h30min to 2 hours a day is more than enough to finish it if u do that constantly. I even had time to edit it a little like this one on weekends
@@Proskilljg wow! I need to commute to school so there's no chance. I just am an average player with average skills. Love how gaijin punishes the regulars. I just don't really have the motivation after grinding ground. My 1-2 hour session only lead to 15k points, nowhere near what I wanted. Hopefully by today you should have the SU 25 BM
@@chromaticmediant1222 to be perfectly honest im a casual too, my k/d on the f5c which i grinded to top tier is like 0.1 hahahaha. The trick is finding the best suited plane for you. For example in the f5c if i get lucky i get 3 kills, but on the f8e i consistently ace(rarely done during recording XD)
@@Proskilljg damn I could never. The f8e never suited my play style. I much more prefer the f4j, because it was high speed, good radar, good missiles. Basically for me to stay out of the fight and fire some Aim7s on some unsuspecting planes. I never was good at dogfight in f4j, which I guess is true IRL, because it was made as a missile slinging platform. I get 2-3 kills with f4j. I agree, I just never found a reason to grind SU25 BM besides the R73
@@chromaticmediant1222 f4j?! Was my previous fav plane! Chonky boy with bombs and still full missile load with 7fs and the helmet mounted pd! However it is at 11.3 so prone to eating r27ers from mig 29. Is a great plane but has been really powercrept
@@Proskilljg and without premium, it takes 2-3 weeks of playing for an hour a day to get it. I just don't play the game enough because of the progression system lmao
