these are on my list.. From what I can tell it seems like these would work best for those of us with some vision left and no not need O#M but more reading menus, street signs, etc.Plus, the price.. and they dont' look weird
You mentioned this being a more precise method. I don't get how that's the case. It seems as accurate as all GPS-based services. Also whay use this app rather than any other GPS naviagation app. Don't they all have a means of dropping a ping (sharing your location)?
You raise some good points. I can think of some advantages over using a pin. For example, if you are a screen reader user dropping a pin may be difficult if you are not in the location that you want to drop the pin in. If you know what the three words are already, then it's much easier to share. For example, let's say you want to schedule a pickup from a location that you regularly go to but that's out of the way. Once you have found the three words for that location once, they will always be the same. Therefore it's very easy for you to schedule the pickup in advance by sharing the three words with your pickup driver whenever needed. The accuracy is more a comparison to being given traditional locational information. For example, if you say 'meet me at the concert by the drinking fountains' then it may be a large concert with many people and difficult to find the fountains. If you have a 3 words location then you know the specific 10ft by 10ft grid they will be in.
@@VisionForwardTechConnect Your scenarios presume that the recepient will be familar with the WTW service and that they would have WTW on their phone and know what to do with th three words that you have remembered and are conveying to them via some other form of communications. If you are sending it to them through the WTW app that is a scenario where conventional dropping of a pin would be the same. In effect you are sending them a URL that opens a GPS app (like WTW or Google Maps) that has the location infomration included in the URL. I have URLs squirled away for my locations of interest that I can copy and paste or share quite easily. Or I can have locations in my favorites in google maps (or other GPS apps). Open them and easily share them. I'm just not getting an understanding of the value added of W3W. The encoding of location information in 3 words is interesting and somewhat cool, but I'm just not understanding the value added that would justify using yet another app. Yes, W3W is can be more accurate than a non-specific verbal location information, but that just means the information provided wasn't precise enough. But yes, that has some value. How easy is it to get the 3 words you describe in that scenario if you aren't actually at that location?

You guys are great. Love hearing your demos on different products. Yes, I have used Navi Lens to label some of my craft stuff. There are some Navi lens codes at Union Station in LA. I wish they would put them on all the bus stop signs.
Love their version of monopoly and uno, also love There version of deal or no deal and family feud. I haven't played these games in a long time but when I did, I really enjoyed them. They really did a good job of accessibility.

That’s cool!! But I am deaf blind (I am not fully blind, just have vision issues) that made me think of Apple Watch Ultra 2 because of it has big screen that I can see better.
The problem I have had with IrisVision is unnacceptable and potential customers should be made aware of how they treat their legally blind clients. They don't honour their 30 day trial period. If you have a problem, they refuse to issue a refund. They won't engage with customers until the bank is involved. They hide behind flimsy T&C's and try to override your consumer rights. IrisVision have had opportunities to do the right thing on numerous occasions, but I'm still fighting to get my money back!
Yes, also, you should do an update on the video. The glasses should be able to read labels like a package and say Meta, what is this and it will read a package with the address on top of it. And check if they can read currencies
I wonder if different commands would work like read the document or read the first paragraph? This a good video. I don’t have any smart glasses, so I’m considering buying them. I’m sure that the updates will only improve on what they can do. Right now I have a ChatGPT subscription for my iPhone and love it.
As you can tell from William's comment, there's a lot we don't know yet and it seems you can have it read the document. Who know what else can be done??

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. That being said, how effective devices like IrisVIsion are is always going to be dependent on the individual user. I will say that IrisVision usually works best for people with central vision loss, and not peripheral vision loss.
Fun fact! With the Meta glasses, if you dive into the Meta View app settings, under Meta Ai you can enable a toggle that lets the glasses keep listening after the initial Hey Meta response... thus eliminating the need to keep saying "hey Meta"
Offline AI processing is going to be the next big upgrade. Granted, I don't know how viable that will be in a small wearable but possibly a connected smartphone could handle that function?

U leave your screen on bright making it next to impossible to see what the fricken 'ell U are doing. And oh my gosh! Fa'real U don't want to POSSIBLY mess up your recording set up, up. So u won't show us how to make everything larger on the screen. Dude find something else to do because U bite at what u r trying to do here!
I'm surprised by how complicated it is to change outlook, why can't i drag & zoom on the fly, change colors, & especially contrast. Grey on white sucks for visually impaired people yet hard to read fonts, contrast etc seems to be the standard!! Why?!
These are all great questions! I love Outlooks ease of use in terms of keyboard shortcuts, but it has a long way to go in terms of incorporating easy to use visual accessibility options.
