It's called special drill. It's a drill they get to perform just to show off at family day just before they graduate basic training and AIT. These kids learned this in one night after a 5 day field problem where they got 2 maybe 3 hours a sleep a night if lucky
Not bad! But you all forgot the part where the general asks if the platoon completed Army basic training on their own, and the platoon answers back with, "That's the facts, Jack!"
These are not the type of go getters that i want for my EM50 project... I can't believe actors did a way better job of performing Army drill movements than the actual soldiers... These Soldiers need some energy drink to wake up...
Let me add some perspective to your comment. These are basic trainees. That just spent a week in the field for the first time with less than 1 hour of sleep each night. Then this is the first full day back in the rear, where they only got to view the clip from the film the night before. So they did amazing.
I was on the confidence back in 72 at Lost in the Woods I hope they replaced the wood since I was their. It helped see I could accomplish anything. Thanks for your service.😀
They just got out of the field and sacrificed sleep to get their routine down for family day. Always astonished me the number of people who want to rip on others instead of just appreciating their hard work.
Pretty good job! It's awesome to see young soldiers honoring the classics. I brought this idea up to my drill sergeant in 09 and he shot that shit right down.
we pulled it at a pep rally at my high school in 1981. I became very popular for orchestrating it with the student body. The administration was not quite so amused.
