It is absolutely amazing to see other transfemme people out there, I've been struggling with my identity for a few years now and have begun my transition. It's hard, I live in a very conservative area where religious dogma is thrown around at everyone and anyone who dares to upset the delicate binary established throughout the past. I fear for my well-being almost daily, I look for every possible opportunity to escape the immoral bigotry of my home town, my home state, and even now, looking at how things are going, my home country. I feel like I'm defective, dysfunctional, and an intrinsically immoral being. But seeing people who've made it, people who live a normal life as who they want to be... people like you, brings me hope of a future. The future is terrifying, I just want to live my life how I want to. Seeing that a community as simple as a Mario Odyssey modding, or hide and seek has trans people... being people... treated as equals. It's so inspiring to me, it's brought back some hope to my future. I guess what I'm trying to say... is thank you. Thank you so much for being yourself. You don't owe a single thing to anyone, you're you and that's what matters. I look up to you, and all my trans sisters that have been brave enough to take a stand, and to those who kept quiet and fought from the sidelines. It's easy to get lost in the muck in the internet, just know that you've helped blaze a trail for thousands of trans people. You're incredible, you're valid, never stop being yourself, and know that you've helped so many people <3 <3
Hey amethyst, just found your channel and honestly got me thinking about picking up computer coding again. Where did you learn and do you have any tips or recommendations or resources???
