Hi, I'm Alucard, I enjoy videogames, music, art/drawing, and anime. I'm still learning editing and RU-vid in general, don't know where this channel will go but I've been having fun making videos and stuff.
its just strafing into the engie, since you move slower while walking backwards instead of backpeddling to catch up to someones back you look to the side and strafe into them which doesn't slow you down
Alucard I'm glad to meet you back in the hightower revamp v2 me and the others had a good time with you around and to be honest I feel ya about somewhat quitting tf2 (ill always play every now and then but im glad for all the times we had together) much love, {get spooked}!!!!
0:04: The sync was mostly accurate, but you triggered the cheesy motion blur effect too late. There were 2 frames where the "critical hit" graphic was visible before the effect got triggered. 0:07: Two single-stab clips. No sync between either of them. Really? 0:09: You synced the clip change to the offbeat. While not technically wrong, it feels a bit off. 0:11: You made a cut here, presumably to save, what, 0.4 seconds of footage? You could've used the cut to sync up the stab or either of the 2 headshots, none of which were synced. 0:15: Cut is synced to the fourth sixteenth-note partial of beat 3. Very avant-garde. 0:18: Missed sync opportunity on the jump cut. 0:23: Cut was somewhat in time, but the stab on the sniper was completely out of sync. 0:25 - 0:34: 9 seconds of mostly dead air with only one stab and one headshot inside. Could've used creative jump cuts or just not included this clip. 0:35: Hard cut not synced. 0:36: This single backstab was absolutely not worth including, let alone sacrificing seconds of footage that could've included a better stab. 0:37: This jump cut is very jarring. You're already starting to turn around to backstab the unaware sniper, so it feels very disorienting. You also synced it to the second sixteenth-note partial of beat 3, which is odd. However, considering there's a snare hit here, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that it was on purpose. 0:40: This cut was also very disorienting, and takes the context away from the stab. 0:43: Sync felt a little early. 0:44: Cut was late. 0:44: 2 backstabs, 2 trickstabs, and a butterknife. Not a worthy clip, in my opinion. 1:02: Sync was a full eighth note late. Not sure how this is possible unless it was off on purpose for some reason. 1:06: Sync on the pseudo-surf was late. 1:10: Jump cut was a bit late. 1:17: Cut was very late. 1:21: Neat surf, but the sync was almost a full eighth note late again. 1:24: Single stab on a taunting soldier? Really? 1:26: Cut wasn't synced at all. Not sure if you were even trying to sync this one. 1:31 - 1:35: 4 seconds of dead air that could've been utilized for other clips. 1:35: Cut sync was on the offbeat again. 1:40: Surf sync was very early. 1:53: Another cut on the offbeat. Still feels weird. 1:55: Single backstab. Shouldn't have included this, just start the clip at ~1:57 instead. 2:00: Again, what could've been a clean sync is an entire eighth note late. 2:05: This stab sync was missed *even later* than a full eighth note. 2:08: Cut sync is nonexistent. 2:10: Good job on this sync. Overall, I didn't really enjoy this, to be honest. The clips look to be only 30 FPS and the music didn't really fit, especially with the editing (or lack thereof). Really wish I could've liked this. Hope this helps! :)
