this is awesome on so many levels, but i love it so much because its such a shift in tone compared to many other spy frags. sure, there are other fun/chill spy frags out there, but this one is just on a whole new level :D
0:01: This first-person clip being included with such a slow transition at 0:06 makes it feel like a separate clip all on its own. I'd recommend using a fade transition instead of a dip to black transition, because it feels very jarring as it is now. 0:19: Sync was very early. 0:36: The cut to third person here is creative, but it would be better if they were synced up so that the 2 videos line up with each other, instead of cutting to an earlier time when you switch to third person. 0:46: I personally wouldn't have included this butterknife kill, and rather started the clip at 0:49 instead. It's just a single surf, but I think the clip would be cleaner that way. 0:52: Clip starts a bit early. About 3 seconds of dead air between when the clip starts and when you surf the rocket. 1:06: The worm's-eye-view camera angle here is creative, but it feels jarring being at such a low angle. Personally, I think it would look cleaner if you brought the camera up a bit. 1:12: The first person clip feels a bit redundant since neither of the headshots connect. Just doesn't seem like a necessary shot to me. 1:15: Same thing as 0:36. It would feel smoother if you would line up the first-person and third-person shots so that they transitioned seamlessly, rather than cutting to an earlier part of the clip when you switch to third-person. The camera angle here is also a bit disorienting since it's angled so high. 1:22: The camera angle would've been greatly improved if you put it in the very corner so the stab on the 2nd pyro was more visible. 1:32: This stab would've been much more satisfying if it was synced. 1:39: Another weird camera angle. My advice is to set the camera so that the playermodel is always visible throughout the whole clip. You go offscreen at around 1:40. 1:43: This angle is better, but the first stab isn't visible due to it being behind the boxes. I personally would've put the camera above the window that's on the very left side of the screen. That way, you'd catch all the action. 2:00: This first-person shot is completely redundant. Nothing happens until you switch to third-person and kill the 2 medics. 2:06: The ">>" is a bit hard to catch, being placed in the corner. If you do this again in the future, I'd recommend putting an opacity ramp on it so that it fades in and out smoothly, along with a fade transition in the video itself. It would make it feel much smoother. 2:08: This shot is also a bit weird. The way it's framed almost guides the viewer's attention more to the pattern on the ground rather than the player. 2:11: Surfstab isn't synced. 2:16: I hate to sound like a broken record, but these 2 shots should be synchronized. 2:29: Surfstab sync is a bit late. 2:36: Same spiel as 2:16, 1:15, and 0:36. 2:49 Sync is almost exactly a full eighth note late. 2:52 Not sure I would've included this clip at all. 4 backstabs on unaware players and 1 trickstab. 3:19: This drop in the song would've been (in my opinion) the best part in the song to sync a surf to. It went unused. Overall, not *_bad_* but it could be better. I have noticed you improved the frame rate and quality compared to your other frags, but some clips still look pretty compressed; Notably, all the clips from 0:45 - 1:05. Hope this helped! :)))
Amazing frag movie. but one thing that i also have to improve on is the frame rate. but everything else is amazing. added to my list of amazing spy mains
frags are nice, although maybe a little more variety since a lot of it was just single surfs, but u are definitely one of my favorite spies that are only just starting to get good at this stuff. nj.
