I always start feeling embarrassed at all my notebooks and pens...huge bucket of ones that need to be cleaned! It was affirming to see you with all your journals...just because...and I love how your studio/desk is a bit messy...I can't keep mine up to par for too long. I love your plank of thick wood, that you have set up with a lot OF NOTEBOOKS...I just found your channel today...and go "good vibes", and have now subscribed...scrolling through some of your content. I would love to know where you get your embroidered Queen Anne's Lace and the other one...I love them...some-one has an industrial embroidery machine...doing a lovely job , by the looks of it. I too have those penpals...that need to be replied to...and I would not wish anyone to have me for a penpal...I am soooo s l o w in replying...crazy. I actually was the first to complete InCoWriMo in 2013...International Correspondence Writing Month...in February...I wrote EVERY PERSON BACK...LIKE OVER 55 letters in 28 days...I even got my certificate...I tried again in 2015...but felt very unmotivated and different about the whole thing...but...It was , for me, a real accomplishment! Take good care over there!...I can never really hear your name...is it Anna? Wishing you all the best, from Janis on Kookatsoon Lake in the Yukon, Canada.

Hi Janis, thanks so much for joining me here ! I truly appreciate you taking the time to drop a note here . It's been so much fun meeting other stationery addicts over the past few years and being inspired by each other . I am impressed with the amount of pen pal letters you have written , that sounds like it was quite a project. You will always have the memories of the people who weaved through your life at that time ! The Queen Anne's Lace patch is from an Etsy seller 12patches . I put the link in the details section above. Thanks again for watching ! Donna ~

Quick hop over to Wikipedia: ~80% calcium carbonate, 18% HDPE (a plastic), and 2% other. It is neither biodegradable nor composable, and not recyclable without specialized facilities. Over virgin paper (for graphics printing), it does seem to have some environmental benefits (at least if you just look at CO2 and water consumption), however when you include recycled paper those benefits seem to evaporate. It also doesn't seem to hold up to light long term, degrading under UVa (sunlight).

One of the reasons that the silicone o ring could have been popped into the CC (cartridge converter) is that you arent putting the CC into the pen properly if you feel the CC that there are 2 little nubs on the side on opposite sides of it and those go into the little mouth bits inside the grip section not the large U shaped bit and when you put them in the thin grip parts you will feel it click firmyly in place where the big U will not ...when you put them in the large U part it pushes the nipple inside the grip section too far into the CC therefore displacing the CC's O ring that goes inside the grip section ..HOpe that helps :)

For me, burn-out is mainly the by-product of FOMO (fear of missing out) marketing. There's no sense of achievement, even temporary. I get the impression that some salespeople whip us like beasts of burden. They need us to pull a cart, a shoping cart, that isn't going anywhere. It's only the pulling, the volume of sales, that counts, and it's normal that we're tired. They don't respect the natural rhythm of discovery and enjoyment. It's all one big near-miss: everything's almost right from a distance but it's still not right enough as soon we get near it. It's so tiring. Everything is a blur, like looking out of the window of a high-speed train. I've stopped caring for limited editions and, especially, vendors' exclusives. They've lost me. I got off at the previous stop. I am walking around the station, and I'm enjoying the fine weather. I'm not planning to get on the next FOMO train. I am good where I am.
