These lyrics exactly portrays what happening in Bangladesh right now🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩 The govt is attacking and killed the unarmed students protesting against the govt policies!!! I’ve met John Schlitt, Mark Kelly, John Lawry, and Louie Weaver from Petra! After I shook John Schlitt’s hand , Mark Kelly’s hand, John Lawry’s hand, Louie Weaver’s hand, I walked around to the back of the table and all 4 of them gave me a group bear hug & my dad was in the group bear hug with all 5 of us!
This song is one of the best of that era. Such a rimless message, needed as much today as ever. Sometimes I forget just how good this album is. Got it on cassette when it came out, and played it so much the tape broke. Spent a couple hours unrolling it and gluing it together - yes, a couple songs had 5 seconds of wobble, but that’s how much I loved the whole album.
