Welcome to my channel! This is a video of making plastic models, etc., which I have enjoyed since I was a child. I often make robots from the 80's that I experienced in real time. I like to change original characters to suit my tastes.I'm an old man whose processing methods are different from the norm. Please subscribe to the channel if you like.
I hope my channel will be a meaningful time for you.
To imagine Grey Rain (name of Val Walo as your custom build), to have an Opponent would be a Amphibia and Arial Type mobile suit "Seagull Gundam", a completely strong High Maneuver Booster, enough killing Mobile Armors THAT speed, fully armed to teeth, uses old chaff but modified as a Electro Sappers (EMP-like weapon) enough numbed on your Val Waldo that will just scrambled the guns, only has no weapon is the Melee ranged, that’s just sad will ended up K.I.A. Into diorama set. That aside, i love how you inspired it from star wars, tho love make guns almost reminds Micheal Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon’s Autobot Gunship. That said, if only Val Walo COULD have done by final mass production, too bad it was being defeated by a Gundam model, unable retrieve it. (Tbh, Japanese People may be workaholic but when comes hobby like this, i find it amazing work of art if you asked me.)
@charlesaquiler1725 What a wonderful comment!🙏 It's fascinating how one piece of work can spark such a wide range of imaginations in those who view it. That's the wonderful charm of sci-fi models. I'm sure this Val-Walo is honored to have been the catalyst for that😄 I truly wish more Japanese people could have more free time. And thank you for calling it a work of art. That's the highest compliment🙏 Please check out my next work as well.
@SparkRattle Thanks for your comment!🙏 What if the development of this mobile armor had been accelerated by one year? It's interesting to imagine. I think imagining such things is one of the joys of Gundam. And it's fun to see how to make it three-dimensional. Please check out the next video😄
@@tjcreativelife I definitely will! I subscribed to see what you make next! I am amazed how simple the details are but effective. It shows how thought out the mechanical detail is and not just fluff.
@SparkRattle Wow! Thank you so much! And I'm glad you noticed the “charm of simple details” that I was going for. I appreciate it very much🙏 Please take your time and wait for the next video.
@user-ez4xi6qv7y Thank you for your comment🙏 I'm glad to hear that! I made this work without planning ahead, so I was a little worried about whether I'd be able to finish it. But it was fun. I need to do more to prevent my presbyopia lol Please check out the next video too!
Thank you for the insight into your process. I grew up painting models in the 'Eavy Metal style (developed by Games Workshop painting team in the 80s for Warhammer), and would enter the Golden Demon contests in England. Eventually I grew tired of this strict, repetitive technique, and life got in the way, so I stopped painting for 10 years. One day I discovered Kow Yokoyama and his work opened the door to the huge world of Japanese sci fi model painting, and suddenly I was a kid again. Your world is so mysterious, the effects are so interesting! They feel realer than real, and are full of love. I feel privileged to find these videos showing me a wonderful new way to paint models, especially the brush techniques with thinners and lacquer. It's clear that you are a real artist, and it's great to learn from you. Thanks again for these wonderful videos! Cool ball, I hope your son liked it.
@Finn-pe7uj Thank you very much for your very nice comment🙏 Since I was a child, I have been inspired by many professional modelers from the 80's, such as Kow Yokoyama. I was excited to look at model magazines over and over again. The examples in the magazine were so diverse that I was truly drawn to their charm. At that time, everyone was probably searching through trial and error to see how far they could express themselves using the tools they currently had. Nowadays, we see many examples of airbrushed paintings, and it seems that there are also many similar examples. If you have time, try searching for examples of works by Takuji Yamada and Shuhei Matsumoto. It's amazing😄 It looks like I'll have time to make plastic models soon, so please take a look at my next work.
ありがとうございます! Thank you very much🙏 I have a lot of old plastic models that I bought to assemble when I got older. But my son built and played with many of my plastic models and let them sleep in his toy box😆 Little by little, I will wake up those sleeping plastic models😁
I've been a fan of missile pods since the 80's. Ever since I saw DOUGRAM. Also VOTOMS and MACROSS.I will also attach a missile pod to another plastic model that I will make someday😀
@@tjcreativelife I saw most of those as Robotech haha, but later in the early 2000s though I caught a couple episodes of Robotech in the 90's. I did see all of Macross Plus in 98 and some of BattleTech too! I'd love to try garage kits from scratch but its so hard to get a starting point!
ErgonomicChair 👍 My recommendation is a little minor "Dorvack". Anyway, the powered suit that appears in it is cool. "Xabungle" is good too. A machine with a realistic design will come out. You may have already checked. If you look at this, you may come up with some new ideas for plastic model production. I have never built a garage kit either.
Thank you for your comment!🙏 The joy of completing a plastic model by myself is the best. And as you say, it's also exceptional when a new life is breathed into a plastic model. Please check out my other video😄
@@tjcreativelife Absolutely! I am binging them all, trying to learn how I want to paint these.... $1400 (oh my god lol I just counted it all) of BattleTech minis and not sure If I will use your method for the Jade Falcon clan I am making... but this method might work for Gray Death Legion or Eridani Light Horse! Or maybe even Northwind Highlander, or Fed Suns.
$1400😱 But they definitely play a role in your creative side. Also, if you try this application method of mine, you may be hesitant at first. Because the paint is too thin. However, when you paint over and over again, a unique atmosphere comes out. It would be nice to have a cool Battletech mini completed👍
@@tjcreativelife For sure! I have a ton of inner sphere units and I think the innersphere will be a really good, worn down, repaired, and repainted again experimentation. I want to experiment with making some panels and even limbs looking newer and less weathered, so I'll need to hink about and plan how to do that!
Experimentation is good! I also think that experimentation is a very important element that supports the creative side.I have also experimented with painting many times. And I'm still experimenting, albeit a little. Experimenting is fun too! First, like everyone else, I tried to imitate the examples of model magazine creators. However, I was still young at the time and did not understand the meaning of the article very well. And as I repeated the number of times, I came to feel that my current way of painting is not bad. The modelers I was referring to at the time were Mr. Shuhei Matsumoto and Mr. Kow Yokoyama.
Thanks for the nice comment!😄 My painting method is a little weird, but it's a lot of fun. Please give it a try. There is a video showing my painting method that is different from this one, check it out. 👉BALL,ZAKU Part2
