thanks for having Mr T on again, I do remember three years back your highly informative conversation regarding the Dutch tech that was sanctioned for China...and I now see how China has exploded in this tech because western and european/Dutch manufacturing has no r&d investment in chips with government assistance, their government curtailed investment for fiat reasons and China expanded for people reasons!...Mr T was and is a cool dude...thanks again Xiangyu and Mr T for this second investigation/interview..❤👍🏾

Great interview. I actually bought TSMC stock before Warren Buffett publicly announced his purchase ... at 68. I know much of background the speaker mentions, but his talk is succinct ... spot on. Why Fukuoka Japan? It's the water. Not important but Panasonic and Matsushita, in Moriguchi-shi, are the same entity. Following INTC ... over promise and under perform ever since I can remember. Living off the legacy 386 architecture in switching? Point me to 'Mr. T's' other videos, please.

What was not asked was how did the people of Taiwan react when they learned that the US Military actually had plans of bombing TSMC and other electronic-related factories in Taiwan should the US withdraw from Taiwan when facing a defeat from the Chinese mainland? Or do the people in Taiwan even know about this US plan to basically destroy Taiwan?

Tsmc have one "trick" under it's sleeve, in Taiwan people very often work 60-72hrs in Tsmc and in Arizona as of now they have problems employing people (half of the workers there are workers sent from Taiwan there) they could use it as an excuse to pull out if they don't find local workers if they want. It's not a nice trick, to not have labor laws but as their's CEOs have been saying "the taiwanese way". samsung always had problems with their processing chips (south Korea is better known for memory chips, and they're doing great there, sk hynix and samsung are industry leaders), even nodes that yielded decently had always higher power consumption and lower performance issues (on same ARM designed CPU/GPU cores). Apple used to work in the past with samsung until they saw that Tsmc's chips have been higher quality. Galaxy s series phones with their own Exynos chips have always been worse than anything Qualcomm produced (i think that for the american market only they produce with Qualcomm and us, rest of the world have to deal with their chips), only very recently they suck way less than it used to. One interesting thing about China's CPU industry is that their X86 instruction set manufacturer Longsoon have been doing great leaps and next year they will have similar performance CPU with Intel's processors from 2 years ago. Now i know Intel don't do very good but 3 years ago China was 6-8 years behind on per core performance. The recent push by the CPC for every gov entity to use home grown chips is also pushing them to innovate too since they have guaranteed order.

Andrea was living off the avails of other people's prostitution. She could be convicted by the laws she endorses in Canada. Now she makes money harming people who work in the sex trade. Having said that, I don't think she should be charged because working together does create safer spaces. These laws are harmful to the very people they claim to protect. It's just sad that now that she isn't doing it anymore she champions the criminalization of those who are. Prohibition does not help. Rights do. Look to New Zealand and full decriminalization for the best outcomes.
@StraitTalkXY
@StraitTalkXY 5 дней назад
Legalization and decriminalization claim to protect women in prostitution, but the evidence proves that they expand the sex industry, and the sex industry itself becomes a cover for activities like human trafficking. Andrea was technically a brothel owner, running a brothel out of a two-room apartment where one of the rooms was rented out to someone else to operate out of. As the equality model is implemented, how these particularities are addressed will need to be worked out, but the fact of the matter is the majority of women in prostitution are not brothel owners.

Thank you so much for sharing my aunt's story. I hope the lesson to your students isn't to feel guilt for foreign policy out of their control, but to see how media narratives are often shaped by the omission of differing viewpoints. The Korean War was ultimately an extension of antagonisms that had already existed in Korea, with foreign powers eager to exploit and perhaps even exacerbate them for their geopolitical purposes.

You know what is really sad? many South Korean youths today are ignorant about the Korean War, they even think the U.S are their protectors. They don't even realize their own country is occupied by foreign troops and so many Koreans died during the war at the hands of U.S intervention. The U.S continues to occupy their country today. They think U.S Imperialist are their "Allies". South Korea isn't even under threat, not even from the North. The western propaganda narrative is the North is dangerous and China is also dangerous.

XY, you aunt's experiences and sufferings during the war years are indeed moving and touching. I can't imagine her mother's tribulations with bound feet having to carry the younger son while on the run over all sorts of difficult terrain. Indeed their experiences examplify the plights and sufferings of the Palestinians today who are still undergoing endless days of strafings and bombings. You aunt is absolutely right about war causing unnecessary sufferings to civilians. Indeed, it is increasing clear that if there is any country that is gaslighting other countries into going to war, it is the US, first and foremost!
