I just wanted to come one here and tell everyone that Yoohyeon is the best vocalist in dreamcatcher…being the only one in the vocal line to support somewhat consistently. Siyeon rarely ever engages her diaphragm and she has poor breath control she is a stylistic vocalist and fits the dreamcatcher concept so no doubt she is main vocal. JiU just has a pretty voice her and Siyeon are basically matched in skill
They actually had a competition in some Korean kpop-tv about who can produce the highest note. Result was 3. SIYEON, 2. DAMI, 1. SUA. Sua has the highest note - by far.

@@inyochayacha548 let me fix some… Yuri is mid average, Yoohyeon below Lia is total joke, Lia is around Giselle. Jihyo is mid average, Winter is mid-high. I’m refrained from using D+/D/D- it’s quite confusing actually lol.
I have no real music knoledge to back me off, only my ears and an eclectic music genres listening experience, but I think SuA and Handong deserved a higher score, for their voices range is pretty dynamic, the only thing I think separates them from Siyeon and Yoohyeon is the fact that those two are always super stable on top of their range, but i feel like handong can go almost as low as Dami... Idk tho, like I said, i don't know anything about music, this is all but me spilling probable nonsense.
Dami, Gahyeon and Handong have received more vocal (and English language) training in 2020 and 2021. So they have improved dramatically and are more of a match to the other members. Also, Handong has become much more fluent in Korean, which was her initial handicap and didn't allow her to be called a vocalist (now she sings chorus lines with ease). To tell you the truth, when I saw D next to Handong, on the watermark, I was really triggered. But I guess it's D for Dong Dong. Double D = A.
JiU was selected for the dance line in Mixnine for a reason. She is super good. I think in any other group she would be the main dancer. SuA is slightly above her but that's because Dreamcatcher is just a top tier gg. Part of JiU's talent is also her attitude and presence on stage. It's just captivating and makes her stand out even more. The Boombayah fancam to this day is still iconic to me. Her moves are so sharp and her energy is infectious.
Ok, my ranking: JiU, SuA, Gahyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Siyeon, Dami. Btw, I'm Dami biased. Just ranked as I feel. Also this AI has no sense of beauty, placing Bora last, not mentioning that everyone should have 100% at least.
That's crazy how good they are, Yoohyeon, Jiu and Sua could actually be the mains vocalists if they were not in Dreamcatcher... But there's that girl, Siyeon who's out of this World and handle those hiiiiiiigh notes perfectly. For me, she's the best vocalist of all times (with Jongho of Ateez)
Sorry for that, but Jiu and Siyeon can't be a main vocalist in any other group because they can't support so their techniques are weak Yoohyeon can be but in G-idle, Everglow, STAYC, Ive and maybe Loona but the others no Sorry for that but this is actually based on technique
I think Dami and Gahyeon should take more singing lessons because they have great potential. Handong should be given more lines to increase her confidence in singing..Jiu should be given more lines too and songs that suits her voice more, because In terms of technique she is really good. Yoohyeon should do more breathing exercises since she's often out of breath when singing live (without choreography). Siyeon should train to control her vibrato while Sua to control her voice better and to add more colour because her vocal timbre is already good. Btw I'm saying this because I watched their concerts and heard them singing live without backup tracks that covered their voices too much. I know that singing live while dancing is difficult, these are just opinions and I have no ill intentions. I'm an InSomnia since their debut in 2017 and I have anything but love and admiration for them.
ok this might be sounds rude but a real vocal ranking all of them beside Yoohyeon is on F tiers ranking, ik y'all gonna be mad but listen if singers can't support her notes that singers automatically is on the F tiers because it's so important singers to have a support range while in this case non of the girls support her note beside Yoohyeon and Yoohyeon it's the REAL vocalist on Dreamcatcher since she can support up to Bb4 pretty consistent and if Siyeon doesn't try to properly support her notes she will eventually damages her voice so bad, Siyeon (+) point is that she has a wide range and nice tone but technique wise she is one of the weakest Main Vocal on the Kpop industries, i really hope y'all giving non biased ranking and stop giving a false information... and i don't know what proof this video was while they just being stable and there's no technical explain
@@slaypa oh and btw, I kinda figured something out, Somnias were kinda right about Siyeon being one of the best Vocalists in Kpop but they worded it poorly, imo it should've been "one of the best Rock singers in Korea right now", rock requires a whole lot different technique from pop and one thing I really noticed is that no pop singers has ever bothered to sing rock songs before, it doesn't mean they're bad, but they probably can't handle the technique rock singers use
