Hello RU-vid User! A very warm welcome to my channel! My name is Luca and i am 19 years old and i have a big interest in Trains, Planes, partly buses and football. I film and edit and upload everything, the channel is under my dads name (Richard). I am a UK based spotter and go all around the region i live in, but as said if you would like to request a station i will take it under consideration and may visit it! A few years ago we were holidaying in Norfolk when DRS were running services with 37s between Norwich and Great Yarmouth. The sound of these engines across the flatlands on a calm day was magical. The wife couldn't understand why we always had to walk the dogs down by the railway line!
Some very nice captures here my friend! You have some good spots for filming and pretty nice technique. Seeing Bounds Green with a consist in LNER '22 livery was like going back in time! As well as the Grand Central Super Voyager (which I wish were fully black like the Adalantes)
0:47 if only coaches 9/10 were coupled with an articulated bogie… then the amazing zoom sound at 300km/h (186mph to British folks) could not have that annoying gap
They most likely picked the Velaro for the capability of running under Dutch and German catenary voltages without too many extra complications, DB already had Velaros of the same model (voltages included) minus the channel tunnel safety requirements on order.
The nicest liveries they wore was the GNER and original IC swallow. ECML was at its most interesting in the early 00’s. 89,90&91’s could turn up on these sets alongside the HSTs and even Eurostars……..
GIVE IT SOME!!!👏👏👏👏😶🌫 8:26 SUPERB when the drivers give it loads of tones! Its GREAT to hear PROPER LOCOS in this sad wimpy era of electric rubbish no noise/ no clag BORING!
