After 2 years of being out of service due to COVID the Class 373s have finally made a comeback to HS1 after Eurostar announced it would be bringing 7 sets back as the timetable is due to increase. I saw my first 373 in ages at Boxley in December 2021 when i did my night spot. However there are a few unseen clips that i had filmed of the 373s between January & March this year that i would like to show! In January into early February the 373s did test runs between London & Ashford for driver refresh & crew refresh. I went to Stratford & Ashford on January 28th which was my third attempt in trying to get them as the previous 2 trys the test runs had been cancelled! (these test runs were booked to run Wednesday & Fridays, however it mostly ran on a Friday). 2 months later i made a return to Boxley on HS1 on February 25th, the 373s 3rd day back in passenger service, unfortunately for me both the diagrams had been swapped for 374s leaving me furious! Just under a month later on March 14th me & our mates decided to do a day on HS1 covering the 373s. Having just missed 9O08 by mere seconds at Rancombe Farm we were only able to catch two diagrams, better than nothing! I'd expect by summer time there should be more diagrams when Eurostar hopefully reintroduce more services as i would expect passenger demands to be higher.
