I'm a 26 year old guy who makes video game top lists using Windows Movie Maker, I don't know when I'll change my video editor but whatever...I also have my own version of the classic ''Awesome Video Game Music'' series, and I also make some G-major songs if you know exactly what I mean, you can also find many videos of ''The many voices of x in video games'', where I focus on the many characters of a specific voice actress in video games, there are also other videos of course...and ''my character'' is Klonoa himself, obviously, I'm not a fictional character.
Indeed. The characters, the humor, the music, the character designs, the English voice acting, Hyperdimension Neptunia is awesome, what the franchise lacks in graphics (some games) and gameplay (which at times isn't very good) it makes up for in everything else.

Thank you so much for uploading these lyrics! This was by far the most underrated song they had in Cytus, imo. It should have hundreds of thousands of views on RU-vid, honestly.
Me too I ended to buy the game because of the boss battle musics; I was also blown away with the boss battles setup! I'm now on BR Second Light; everything is improved (better battle system, more playable characters, better cutscenes, we can build structures around the school to get stats boosts) but the OST is a bummer: we lost all the epic battle set up of the first game and the variety of banger boss themes (only 2 tracks, one for major and mid-stage bosses). So we have the 1st game with one of the best boss battle setup + incredible OST but very simplistic system VS the 2nd game with classic battle setup and "lazy" OST but with everything else glown up... it's frustrating!
Yeah, Blue Reflection: Second Light is even better than the first game, but it's a shame that it has less battle music compared to the original game, both games have *great* soundtracks but I would say that the first game stands out in the amount of themes for the battles, while the second game stands out in the amount of themes for the maps (or Heartscapes).
You should honestly start the Blue Reflection Ray Anime. That Anime takes place storyline wise before Tie, Second Light does. You even get to find out more about what happened to Hiori Hirahara and Mio Hirahara's mom in the Anime. Also you get to see how Uta Komagawa was a psychopath. And a Rouge Reflector before the events of Tie, Second Light. Same with the Blue Reflection Sun game as well. The Storyline of those series is connected. Basically the entire thing is one big connected storyline. And continuation series. You can find more information when you look up the Blue Reflection Timeline.
I've gone through this game dozens of times and I'm still surprised that Neptune hardly swears at all. Blanc on the other hand. She helped that game earn it's 'T'.
''Candy wrappers''. Yeah, Blanc has always been one of the most foul-mouthed characters in the franchise. I can't wait to hear the dialogue in Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution.
Thank you. I was 20 when I made this video but yeah, there is evidence that I don't look very different several years later (the photo of that Neptunia game for example). I was trying to be funny and/or silly with the end, I'm glad it worked a little.
This is who voiced Mai Toyama in Death End Re Quest 2. anyone wouldn't notice her by voice in her earlier roles in games, but in name? it's labeled upon anyway. 😐
Well, I'll admit I didn't immediately noticed that she voices Mai Toyama in Death end re;Quest 2, using the trailers as reference at least. It was until the release of the game where she revealed that she is the voice of the protagonist. This video was posted before the release of Death end re;Quest 2 in the west but in my opinion she did a great job as Mai, and Mai kind of sounds like Plachta and GM...but only a little I guess? I don't know...I'm sure I'm not the only person who didn't know that she voiced Mai until Ryan Bartley herself confirmed it.
According to Mel Kishida the creator of Blue Reflection, he said that there is gonna be more to Blue Reflection after Blue Reflection Sun. He released a Timeline saying that there will be a new another story arc. And a new world order saga. Also something else is to come he pointed out. I don't think Blue Reflection is done with yet. Go to Google amd type in Blue Reflection Timeline. And you'll see what I'm talking about.
I don't know if you are talking about the old image of the timeline or the recent comments made by Mel Kishida...or something like that? Well, at least it's true that he, supposedly, has more plans for the Blue Reflection franchise, *if* the end of Blue Reflection Sun is not the end of Blue Reflection then...good luck, I hope that he or other people involved don't screw it up again, assuming that there is going to be more Blue Reflection content. We'll see...
@lovevideogames1 I for one loved and enjoyed Blue Reflection Sun. Look at it this way. Mel Kishida just wants to move forward in the Blue Reflection franchise. And do more things. I'm not talking about an old timeline. I was talking about the Blue Reflection World Timeline he posted to his Japanese Twitter account once. It shows how their all connected. Basically the timeline has arrows pointing to things. And the question Mark ? Thingy after Blue Reflection Sun. You translate that timeline into English, it talks about a new another story, a new world order saga. And something else with the ?. Honestly , if I was you , I'd play and watch eighty single thin related to Blue Reflection. The series needs all the love and support I can get. And not any hate at all. It deserves more love and support in the Anime, gaming, Magical Girl communities.
I like your optimism and I agree that Blue Reflection deserves support but, if we talk about the franchise in general, I don't necessarily agree with ''all the love and support it can get'', I mean, I've criticized the series before because of the fact that the Blue Reflection games don't have English voices unlike other games published by Koei Tecmo (America), you can be someone who prefers Japanese voices and that's fine but no one can deny that a Japanese game has a bigger appeal if it has Japanese voices and also offers voices in another language, at least English but, depending on the game, even French and Spanish for example, (Mighty No. 9 and several Sonic games are some examples) why not? If someone discovers Blue Reflection as a fan of Japanese games but also someone who likes English dubs, the lack of English voices will be enough for someone to say ''oh, no thanks, I won't play the game then'' and that's just one thing. Dark Rose Valkyrie, Atelier Firis, Death end re;Quest, Dead or Alive 5, Ar Nosurge etc are all games with Japanese voices *and* also English voices, but the Blue Reflection games don't have English voices... The main character of Blue Reflection Sun alienated the fanbase partially because, well, he's a guy, the main character of that game is not a girl, in Blue Reflection and Blue Reflection: Second Light the main character is a female character, Hinako and Ao respectively, but in Sun, the main character is a man without a specific name (you can name him what you want)...I'll be honest with you, initially I was one of the few fans that defended the decision of DMM Games, I defended DMM Games at first saying things like ''this could be interesting'' or ''if it's handled well, this could result in moving and heartwarming interactions considering that it would make sense that the girls interact differently with a boy instead of a girl'', after all, Blue Reflection is a franchise that commonly deals with feelings and human emotions, the emotions and feelings we all have are common themes of the IP, well, it's difficult to defend the decision of only including a male main character because he isn't voiced, when I found out that the main character of Blue Reflection Sun isn't voiced I couldn't defend that decision anymore, the fact that they didn't hire a voice actor for him not only feels like skimping on expenses (even more), it also feels or probably shows that they don't feel confidence in their decision, they don't feel extremely confident that the main character could work and so he doesn't have a voice, his lines are only written. I could write a little more but honestly I'm repeating myself here and this comment is partially taken from another comment I wrote on the official trailer of Shiho Kasuga for Blue Reflection Sun, so, I'll leave it here. I don't know if you have difficulty criticizing something you like or recognizing when a company does something...questionable, but at the end of the day, just because something is related to the Blue Reflection IP doesn't mean that it's inherently good or that it deserves to be defended, and that goes for every franchise or IP out there...that's all I have to say.
Wow, impressive. I mention in the description that the video is inspired by content like ''Ryuji swears a lot'' but I never tried to implement a swearing count or whatever because of how laborious it would be. Good job, I bet you had some fun making that comment with the use of ''Booba Brothers'' for example.
Most Neptunia characters don't have parents, that said, Plutia should be like a mother figure for Peashy, that's something at least. If Blanc had parents, maybe they wouldn't like hearing her using that language. Compa in the first game tells her that ''a cute girl should never talk like that''.
That transition of the game introducing the boss first with My Real and then Battle Start a few seconds after that was so sick! Even tho it gets played a little too much, that first use of it was great. I didn’t realize there were so few boss tracks, hopefully they’re just as good or better than my real when I get to them lol
Awesome music (like the first game), that said, I still don't like the fact that the game recycles hallucination And hope, it's a pet peeve or something ''very me'', but I hate, more or less, when a game recycles music, no matter how good it is, I want original music or remixes but not reused music, and Blue Reflection: Second Light is very guilty of that. The same thing goes for several Mario games, many Neptunia games and more. Well, at least both games have *great* music.
@@lovevideogames1 second light reuses that a lot? I’m still close to the beginning and that’s a bummer to hear. I actually am trying to finish blue reflection 1 after not touching it for years and I’m gushing about how they go in on the music. It’s such a unique ost, and they have so many different ones, especially with the different versions for the sephirot fights. I can see why that could be dissapointing when they don’t go as crazy with the music in Tie It’s a valid complaint, they showed they’ve got the artistic chops to make a bunch of varied tracks with 1 with a smaller budget and with a brand new ip
My apologies for the late response, I was on vacation. Yeah, you can feel bad for Sarah but it's still a funny and realistic moment I would say, that said, we are talking about Death end re;Quest 2 here, if this game is going to make you feel bad it will be for more than just a character crying. This is a dark and violent series, both games deserve the M rating...
I'm sorry, but my answer is no, I'm not a Blue Archive fan and in fact I'm not familiarized with the music of Blue Archive, I've *barely* listened to the music of that game, I don't plan to do that video and I don't think I'll do it, sorry...
Yeah. When NIS America published the games, they had more instances of swearing or the language was stronger, now with IFI, some games are tame (if we talk about language) compared to the first 4 games. The only games that might come close are Megadimension Neptunia VII, Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls and maybe Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution.
@@lovevideogames1 did game maker revolution release yet? I'm sure it only released for japan as of now Since the neptunia series is so desolate, I've not heard of it until now
Yes, Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution is not available in the west yet, that said, it will be released in the west soon this may 14 for PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
At least for Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters, but only because someone messed up (IFI or someone who works for that company) with the rating process and the content descriptors of the game. The next game Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution does contain some swearing and according to the ESRB the word ''asshole'' (for example) appears in the game, so...no problems with the next game.
It's funny because according to several sources Sarah is not dubbed by Brianna Knickerbocker, that said, her English voice actress may not be confirmed and who knows if she is voiced by Brianna in English and we just don't have an explicit confirmation. I can't deny that she sounds like Sleeping Beauty, Lucil/Svetlana, among other characters.
Thanks for this video. I love HyperDimension Neptunia. The music is so relaxing to listen too. Great game and Anime series as well. Glad I have been a fan of this series for a long while now. It's a very fun and unique series similar to Blue Reflection.
One doesn't expect music this relaxing in a franchise like Hyperdimension Neptunia, a franchise with a lot of humor, video game references, pantyshots and fanservice in general. I don't think that Neptunia has a similar appeal to Blue Reflection, the Blue Reflection franchise has a different appeal compared to Neptunia and pretty much the only things in common are the fact that both franchises are of Japanese origin, both franchises use an anime art style and/or characters that look like anime/manga characters, and in both franchises there is a focus on female characters, but with all that said, I agree that the series is very fun, I really like the Neptunia games and anime.
Lady Brianne is old enough to be my mom and I don't know where I got the notion that this talented lady was born in '73. Of course her health isn't in her prime right now. Then again, Brianne Siddall is one reason why I put older anime over boring crap from Japan these days. She and Emi Shinohara should totally take it easy at their similar, current age.
Thank you for doing oke of my requests to upload the Atelier All Battle and Boss themes OST BGM Soundtrack. This music is so beautiful. I love how it fits with the characters. And style the game goes for. Sorry I'm late to noticing that you uploaded this video.
No problem, I had fun making this, MisterExtender uploaded that long video (more than 4 hours long) a few years ago, but at least this one contains every battle song in Atelier Sophie. Atelier Sophie is one of the few Atelier games I've played, in my opinion it's an enjoyable turn-based RPG with likeable characters, good graphics and great music, overall, not bad.
@@lovevideogames1Same as well. I started the Atelier games thanks to the Atelier DLC costumes, levels and bosses in Blue Reflection. Also I started with the Escha & Logy Alchemist of the Dusk Sky Anime. I've been playing Atelier Sophie. and it's been quite a relaxing, and enjoyable experience for me as well.
