Hi! Welcome to my channel :) I'm Zoey and I'm a 24 year old Transgirl :3 You will not see much here for the most part, as I have motivationstruggles and in general usually feel like most of the stuff I do is bad. :D When I do upload it will most likely be a tool-assisted SMW hack. See you around! c:
Pls check out the person I stole my awesome Avi from! Deviantart: Ipun ipun.deviantart.com/
Awesome compilation Zoey, nothing like the morning coffee and watching some tool assisted runs(: I struggled with the Chateau room myself, so i just asked creator, and the answer was just hold right as you hit the wall, nothing more:P Mortons Plains was was rough as it was learning a lot of new stuff, and most of all get a feel for the air catches, that took some time:S
I was unable to find a way to beat: Star World 1 (normal and secret exit, since you have to be big), Vanilla Dome 2 (normal and secret exit) the levels after for that matter (which are Vanilla Ghost House, Vanilla Dome 3, Vanilla Dome 4, Lemmy's Castle, Cheese Bridge Area normal and secret exit, Cookie Mountain) Sunken Ghost Ship and then all of Bowser Valley since it is inaccessible.
@@zoeytastic666 I assume im unable to send links. Its possible to use the buzzy beetle waking up to jump under the screen (you also clip the slope to get inside of the ground)
I was really curious what it was that made you not beat certain levels, and I see now that the Ghost Ship is gatekeeping rest of the levels in Bowsers Valley afaik, what an awesome run :D GG!
Yea, the Sunken Ghost Ship is absolutely unbeatable with the rules laid out, same with both Vanilla Dome 2 normal and secret exit sadly. Star World 1 would be beatable with a cloud if you would allow Yoshi (tho idk if you can get a cloud without getting a coin). Maybe it'd be interesting to see minimum coins, minimum powerups or something like that :D
Important: I had to cheat to fully complete the hack! I locked myself out of getting the secret exit in Nonary Palace and had to use free move to get the checkpoint to start in the room I had to be in. I did this because I didn't want to fully replay the hack for my time sake and also I had no motivation for it. If you watch this as a guide: The exit I get at 1:32:48, you are supposed to get after 57:35, after you got the secret exit, you will spawn in the checkpoint room and enter door 4 (watch from 59:53) and then get the yellow switch (watch from 57:35).
It's theoretically almost ready, practically I'd have to play the whole hack again. I forgot to get the secret exit in Nonary Palace and am therefore locked out to fully complete the hack. I cheated past it, thinking I would just go back to it later, get the secret exit, cut it into the video, explain it in the description and be done with it. However this fully killed my mood to play as it doesn't feel right, but I also don't have the motivation to completely replay the hack over a stupid mistake I made.
thanks for playing! definitely some funny stuff in here i'd never considered before. also "this is RTA viable but don't let that fool you" is my favorite blurb i've seen about this and will be my new go-to description, lol
Considering it's roughly a 23% chance to activate quick claw it's not even that bad, sadly the text for proccing quick claw will most likely lose more frames than you gain from not having to lose frames to hit moves.
That's definitely an interesting hack to TAS :o Maybe using Seeded Mode to find a password for a good seed (pre-generated maps and gym leaders, most importantly) instead of a randomly generated run would save a good amount of time. But 00:22:49 is already an insane time, pretty much twice as fast as the 00:46:xx I've made with fast-forward during a Scrafty run ! Huge congratulations ! I'm not saying you now have a potential competitor, but this seems like a fast run compared to most games... 👀
Seeded would definitely be a better solution, but without a program to generate seeds, I don't think I want to deal with :D. Though this in general can be improved, for example restarting the entire run instead of sitting still at the beginning of the run, using items in the bag or another way to waste a turn if they use Protect, multi hit move to deal with Focus Sashes. Maybe I will improve this eventually :D
There definitely is a lot of room for optimization ! And it seems at least to me, that this TAS was mainly meant to be an attempt at making a low enough time, without trying to make THE lowest time possible. TAS runs like those make a really good job at showing where time can be saved for the future, I fully support you if you wanna make things more optimized :>
GGs and cool to see how you solve things, it gives me good feedback with things i overlook and what i need to change, so ty for puttin out these videos. Longest jump aint hard....you hit the right yoshiblock first, then the left, the invisi yoshi will rise to the top, you mount it go down again, and do a cornerjump and dismount at the lowest point:)
FFS man XD , you tas`d this? Im laughing my ass of right here, hope it was somewhat enjoyableXD yobby spring yeah, you do the springglitch and press up under the pipe:) you get the srping in the wall and springjump in the pipe by clipping and take it with you,. REally cool strat on the 45 tile jump with yobby<3 And GGs, thank you so much for to breaking my game, really fun to watch<3
ive barely released thehack and you cleared it, so cool, and what an awesome strat at zopazayan, really cool to watch, good you didnt mind me put you in the credits, it was very helpful, thank you, ggs, you crushed it again:D
