I miss the old games like they used to have to match all there jersey to get good snygerys and change there positions by buying the positions and the captain and a used to give plus 1 and 2
@@DinoKrista half the fun is building the team so they used to make you buy contracts for your player buy them like 13 game contract it was just more interactive
I might be crazy, but I like 99 Hut. I just enjoy playing the game so I like playing with the best guys. And I also like playing against another 99 team. That way won or lose it's on skill and not on who has a better team.
I love the Custom Strides idea! EA is making a Simulation Hockey game. The players should look and feel like their real life counterparts. And custom strides would be a step towards that
Anything thing people keep talking about is Team Chemistry. It was hated for Years! It was a bad system. It was unfun. I don’t want Change team Cards in Packs. I want players.
But how can you say there is a team building asspect in the game where you do not feel a difference if you use a LW on C possition once he hits a 99? Would that be good way of making cards feel different and allow us to build different teams with different boosts?
I’m sorry this position thing has been mentioned by a few people. And it’s such a terrible idea. I’m not attacking you when you say this. But Players change positions all the time. Call Caulfield was drafted as a right winger and played last season on left-wing. Juraj Slafkovsky was drafted as a left-winger and played last season on right wing. Giroux and Stamkos are Faceoff takers but play on the Wing. Connor McDavid has been a winger for the majority of his career in the NHL. Because his low Faceoff ability. Hence the bigger and stronger Leon Draistl was Center. And the Faster McDavid was on the wing. If anything, FORCING the player base to use players at whatever arbitrary position EA Decides. Would Create more common teams online. Because most of the best players in the world are listed as Centers. The last thing a video-game needs is for the creators to limit the users with -3 “just because” The game is suppose to be for fun. Mining attributes and creating arbitrary limitations is unfun.
I guess I'm weird. I like squashing SB's with my bada$$ Hut 99 team. Could add a mode though. QOL like all the button pushing in the menus. Send everything to my collection automatically please 🙏
I am all down for offline modes but the way current SB are set up where you just score 5 goals and sit behind the net is so boring. If they change the point system I would even play it

seeing pre season again when I logged in at 5 was so disappointing. only thing that saved it was I have pasta, Nylander and headman tots so I got 3 99 upgrades. Im really hoping we see hut verse next week as the 99s. I think it would be Tage, Pronger and Webber. hut verse was definitely on of the best events the year it would have been even bigger but of course TOTY was happening at the same time.
I don’t understand how release week 5 of the same event was a good idea. I like Hut verse event too as players out of position is always fun 🤩 But we will get week 6 and new 99 MSPs
I dont understand this. A free 99 in sep. What if NHL25 is late ore maby did they canceld it? Infinit know . But i think they could give us the 99 in a week not 4.

I javen had much luck recently. But I did open a 2 gold players pack, and both were extractors lol I am pretty sure Mathews wasn't made captain because he had some misdemeanor offence at the time, so the maple leafs chose tavares
You should make the 99 Orr too. I made the chara and I received many suggestions for the Orr. I have to say the Orr is an absolute beast and so worth it !!!!

The less imrpovements to HUT and EASHL -cash grabs, the better. Offline modes and actual game mechanics have been left in an unacceptable state and need actual attention.
70% of players play ESHL and HUT, if those modes will not get any improvements others will not exist. I agree others also need attention but they will never take priority unfortunately. Also, my video is focused on HUT not other modes I don’t play them and can’t really talk about
Been playing EA NHL going back to 1993. NHL '94 was the Classic. Throughout the 90's ideas became great because it made the franchise exciting with one timers added. Sorry for being all over the place, but the NHL franchise was fun even through the 2000s. Something seemed to flip on the 2010s-2020. Hard to say on a keyboard, but maybe have a trade engine for HUT teams? Like a real life GM. You get a set of cards aka your team from base card only. After your players have built chemistry, started putting up points, getting Wins in Rivals/HUT Champs, maybe do a Transfer Window where EA sets out a certain select of limited edition 99 cards of 5 players (3 Forwards, 2 Defenseman, 1 Goalie, maybe a TOTY types), but you have to make a trade that makes sense like 2 GMs negotiating. If there's a TOTY set in place before the "season" begins say October and you know come January, you want a certain player, your team you've built from scratch, maybe EA has a trade generator asking for say 3 of your forwards who may be a 95 since you built their attributes through playing? You have to make a tough decision on a 3 for 1 trade or walk away, but if you accept trade for a 99, but lose 3 95s, you can put your 99 on your team and rebuild 2 new players from your reserved roster? I don't know. Just hoping for greener pastures in NHL '25. 😻🙏🙌
I actually like the idea but to implement something like that would be a lot of new coding and work. I just want to see something NEW in HUT and something I could say - WOW, no others games have it
