I bought all the products on your recommended list and it made my hair feel amazing...but my scalp would still be itchy on day 1! By day 5 my scalp is inflamed and haor is falling out. How can I moisturize my scalp while still getting a clean scalp and light hair that isn't weighed down? (tried scalp serum and it made my scalp sooooo greasy!)
Hi! Please be aware that I am not the type of person that reviews any kind of products unless they are really, great. I have to tell you and all your followers that I am one of your early pre-order customers, and I received your shampoo and conditioner, and I absolutely had to tell everyone how incredibly amazing your shampoo and conditioner worked on my hair the very first time I used it! They are truly amazing! I cannot express enough how thankful I am for your products! Thank you so so much!💕💇🏻♀️
I started watching your videos about a year ago and my hair is so much healthier now :) Basically, everything you advised us not to do to avoid hair damage was my daily routine! lol My hair was extremely damaged in my twenties and early 30s. My hair was crunchy, dry and frizzy. Now, it’s starting to look fuller, shinier and bouncy. Better late than never :)
I have questions about curly hair. Because I put on product in the shower to lock in moisture. So when when I add leave in conditioner? I already use oils when I break my hair cast. Naturally curly hair is different than other hair.
Allergic to fragrance in Redken big blowout. I did ask them and as of now they do not have a fragrance free version. Would you recommend an alternative. Does not necessarily have to be fragrance free as it was just that particular fragrance that was problematic. Love your videos
i’ve tried the redkin spray in conditioner & it gave me so much build up on my hair , i couldn’t even brush my hair some days .. i thought my hair was damaged & i asked my hair dresser & she said no it’s build up … so after not using for a couple weeks my hair went back to normal
But if we have split ends, we do need to cut it, right? I mean, even the Redken treatment can't repair split ends. And if left alone, is it true that the split travels up the hair shaft?
Yes, they should be cut off. I don't know why he said that the Redken treatment would fix damaged hair. I'm sure it helps but when my hair was bleached to death and my ends were splitting the only thing that helped was to cut off the damaged hair.
Hello, I really have to thank you. I'm 33 years old and never in my life I've had a more beautiful head of hair. I've been following your videos for about a year now and during this time I've seen my hair flourish like never before. At some point in my life I was beginning to believe that unfortunately I couldn't have long hair because it was always breaking off more or less at shoulder length. I've tried anything: all kinds of oils, shampoos, masks and whatnot. They never worked! Thanks to you now I have full hair down almost to my waist! Healthiest hair I've ever had (and I color it too!) Thank you, really. You've helped me be more confident in myself.
I can go longer then 3 days, but I recently read that if you don't wash the sweat/bacteria of your scalp, your scalp will be less healthy/makes hair grow slower/less healthy. Is this true?
thanks so much for making this video, it really inspired me to go find another fucking video that doesn’t fucking blabber on and fucking on about useless shit. 🥰
Where do curl creams fit in to this process? I do everything you recommend but I have 4 kids, a job, and wavy hair. I blow dry with curl creams for cute, beachy waves. Thoughts?
1\Champoo and conditioner are not enough ✓u need leave-on conditioner 2\Washing it and styling it all the time will damage it ✓ at least 3 days between washes 3\ bleaching ❌ Consider seeing a specialist before doing it
Chris, please provide some alternatives for products that are available outside the US. Redken is available in Mexico but not the shampoo you recommend 😢
@blowoutprofessor, speaking of grandmothers and brush care, my paternal grandmother, who was born in 1894, taught me how to take care of my brushes. Like many women in the early to mid 20th century, she had a standing weekly beauty parlor appointment. I spent many nights with her. The night before she had her hair done was brush washing night. She removed all the hair. Filled the sink with warm water and a squirt of Palmolive dish detergent. she would swish and soak for about 10 minutes. Rinse. Shake excess water and leave to to dry on a towel. From the time I was about 6 (1966) this has been my brush care method. No beauty parlor appt, though. 😉😉
gonna have to try the wring it out b4 conditioner. Honestly, I've been told "You're hair is dry, More water. More water. More water." ... sooo i used MORE water... lol. Very rarely to i wring it out, because i'll just drip dry it. (im an air dry girl too because... "its too dry") the "its too wet for the conditioner to stick" ... makes sense. Will try it. I've got wavy/curl hair... in GA, so humidity to the heavens lol. Frizz is a given... any way to lessen it though, I'm all for trying.
Would you be able to recommend a routine for people who exercise daily or most days of the week? I hate the feeling of dry shampoo but i dont want to wash my hair everyday 😫
He had one video about that topic but he assumed that people only work out a few times a week and should coordinate your wash day around the workout days. I also work out every day and dislike how dry shampoo feels. I usually only skip one day and then I'll wash.
@alwaysunknown81 thank you for letting me know. I'll have to watch it. I saw Tati recommend bioderma oil control to spray in the roots. But I don't know if that's alright to do or not.
