Just picked one up from Goodwill for $8. Solid heavy construction, crisp buttons, smooth turning dials. When they say they don't make em like they used to they're talking about things like this.
100% agree.....every drive was like a little adventure when i got mine in january but after all the updates it got better and better,actually its somehow almost rocksolid after 2.1 installed and already a bit boring😂😂😂....greets from austria.

I have an 1983 Heritage Series Gibson Moderne Korina. Dead mint, collects grade. As Far as I am concerned that is the first release as the Moderne was never released so these are the first production as the others were a "thought" not produced for the public.
Great guitar. Should have bought one while they were still relatively cheap. Unless we find an original some day, your Moderne IS the original! Thanks for watching.
I was close to making a purchase twice but backed off. I was outside my home doing some gardening and I looked in my driveway and thought "what happens if my Fisker Ocean is parked there and has an issue. Where can I have it towed to, who will fix it". Add to that a no longer existing warranty and parts. I do believe most electrical and mechanical parts are sourced as Magna built the car and they also build other brands. But things specific to the Ocean, body panels, windshields, etc. Would it be profitable for a 3rd party to make them for 10,000 ish Oceans? As accidents occur and random parts from them will be available, they won't be inexpensive, and prices will go up. At some point it might only make financial sense to just have liability coverage and not comprehensive. So, I backed off.
I contacted that dealership and they never called me back and then it vanished. Scam???? Not sure but dealers are never honest. It was an Ultra model which is the lower model with no solar panels.
I think all the cars may already be spoken for. They are all going to be sold through the liquidation. Will have to find a used one if you want one now.

Referring to the Bishop and the Actress is very common in British vernacular and was and is used on all kinds of British comedy shows, movies etc. Think Frankie Howard and the Carry on Films. I think Gone Too Soon was done at ocean way recording studios, I could be wrong though, however I remember seeing a slave reel tracklist. Nice video! Also I love the MJ impression that was hilarious lmao.
Ocean Way owned Record One. I don’t believe anything for Dangerous was recorded at Ocean Way, but it guess it’s possible if they had a big orchestra or something that it could have been done at one of the large rooms there.
Latest bk hearing Friday. Creditor already taking ownership of all 4,300 remaining stock. Much the anger of larger staked Creditors! Ch 7 very soon for Fisker and it's gonna be messy. Not just for the creditors to fight it out, but Ocean owners who will have zero warranty cover or service support now. Insurance companies not insuring Oceans anymore too.
Yeah it’s a real mess. And not even being able to insure the cars is the final nail in the coffin. Lots of folks going to be stuck with a 70k lawn ornament if they don’t get out now.
will 100% pick a couple up if they go to 15-20K, they can hook up to your house as a backup generator via their charging point if anything... fuck it I might buy all of them and turn them into that
These would be horrible to own. They're unreliable and if any silly sensor or honestly inconsequential module were to fail it reduces the speed limit and you can't get it fixed or even parts. Even if you have both the parts and the person to put them on you still need that ridiculous proprietary communicator to reprogram and recalibrate it. Doing a code delete with a blue driver isn't gonna cut it. That doesn't work on german import vehicles that had non dealer work done to them and you have to take it to the dealer to get it reprogrammed. Only problem is that dealers won't do that unless they rip out all the parts you installed which could have been literally from that dealership's part counter and put new parts on it again and charge you for labor as they won't just do the reprogram and recalibration. With zero support for these i would only buy one for 10k max and even then I'd be gambling hard but i could get lucky and get 50k before something major fails causing me to junk it instantly.

They have a lot of cars to get rid of. And with the recent software updates, they are good (if not perfect vehicles). We will just have to see how low they go now that the company is basically done for.
If they can get insured now. Many people reporting that they aren't buying as they wouldn't be able to get insurance now. Be different if Fisker had sold like 100,000 and spares available. But they haven't and there aren't. So insurance nightmare now. Even if they were selling Oceans at 10k new. Can't drive them. No one interested except for spares and that's risky buying.

It'll be a hardware hackers dream. I expect at a low enough price point those who can't afford a more expensive vehicle to take these and enjoy the heck out of them guilt free.
My trans was replaced at my first oil change on my 22. Boy was I surprised! It was gone for a month or more and Ford paid for the rentals. Keep us informed!
@@robdisner I hope so. Just had one of those resets for the tail lights. Oh and there was nothing going wrong with the org trans but it was yanked and replaced and they charged themselves over 10000 for my most expensive "oil change" ever. It was interesting😎
