Great review guys and I love to hear your comparison with other boots. My burning question with the Brass Boots is how outrageous does the toe become over time. Its pretty bulbous out of the box, which is passable, but i wonder as they crease and curl like any boot do they start to look like clown shoes? Personally I do love RedWing I had a pair of Iron Rangers for years that were awesome, but they are overhyped as a brand. No lining, took like 6 months to break them in. Its like a barebones pure boot which is what people love but compared to a lot of brands including Grant Stone like how hard is it to add a basic thin leather lining, I don't think i'll ever go back to RW as they are
Well said. This year 2024 alone I started buying my first RW IR Rider's Room & Moc-Toe 875. Till now I have the IR Amber Harness, Blacksmith Briar Oil Slick & latest model in collection the IR Hawthorne Muleskinner. Truly I've been drugged by RW boots 😂. And today RW just launched the Beckman...owh please no more RW boots 🤔😂
Took me two years to decide to order these. Just got them, and I hate how good they are. Especially for someone with a taller instep. I bought JKs 300x and these to rotate at work. I'm still breaking in the jks, but I can already tell the GSs are better. I hate supporting Chinese companies but this one is beyond good for a boot.

Many of the people who knock the Chinese made boots are typing from their Chinese made iPhones or Chinese made Samsung/Android phones... w. are all very high quality made tools as well.

Love the review on G S brass boots, I'm from the UK and awaiting my first order from GS, I've gone for the black brass boots, I love nice shoes and try to look after them, I own a pair of loaks brogues which I have had for 40 years, they are highly polished and look fantastic and I wear them on a regular basis, so as you can imagine I'm super excited to get my new boots. Shady Rays are phenomenal. Price wise, warranty and customer service. The every day man shades, and I don’t give a shit if that doesn’t make them fancy. They look damn good too if we’re talking style too.
After 4 months of wearing my Ottawa’s daily they are the best type of boots I own. I will be getting a pair of black cxl Ottawa’s when they have them back in stock. My crimson cxl is s nice color. I used Saphir renovator on them and they are a bit darker now. These GS boots are the best for the price. IMO they are Alden like and that’s all that matters. I would never be able to buy Alden’s now knowing GS is hundreds less and when the quality is the same.

I have the watch you reviewed it's beautiful and so chronography. It's a working watch not a fashion chrono where you can't read the sub dials along with lost in the background hands. Incredible lume and nice big clear hands and dials. Its on a chestnut shade Haween leather hand made strap right now and I sometimes put it on steel although the ribbed strap it comes with is beautiful.

I used to think that all MIC stuff were crap and for the most part they are except GS. I just bought a pair of their Ottawa boots in Crimson CXL because I saw the Alden Tankers and I fell in love with their NST's. I found Grant Stone and at first I did not want to buy from them because of my personal issue with China however, after waiting and researching a year I broke down and got their Ottawa boot and they are super nice and comfy. You do have to go full size down from your sneaker size unless you love to have room in your toe box. You guys should try the Ottawa boots. The best looking boot GS has to offer apart from their Diesels and Edward boots. Thanks for your video guys! Great job!
About the style of Ottawa. I prefer a more dressy look, and not too much stitching. So my first pair of Grant Stone boots were Natural Minerva Edward Boots with leather soles. For variety, I got a pair of Kangaroo Jungle Diesel and Forest Kudu Captoe. Then I saw a YT review of the Natural Kangaroo Ottawa Boots. I took a closer look. My next pair will be the Ottawa Boots.
