Yup! Oxblood Iron Rangers were my first heritage-type boot, and it led me down the Truman, Viberg, Parkhurst, Oak Street road. Just sold that first pair on eBay two weeks ago.
Those IR soles are friggin' hard. It's hard to wear them out. When mine finally lose some tread I'm going for the more soft vibram commando soles. Love my IRs, but they're tough to walk around in... and they're skinnier than most folks guess. Glad you like 'em.
Absolutely right ! I started with these same exact boots about a yr ago. We now have 9 pair of RW's between my wife and I. Most recently the Hawthorne Muleskinner Iron Rangers. The charcoal rough and tough look amazing in natural sunlight.
@@PaulStuffy Not since this RW splurge. I've had some England made Doc's that I bought new in Italy in '97 and some RW and Irish Setter work boots in between. A pair of Thorogood heritage moc toes (steel toe) that I bought for work kicked this more recent thing off. Everything else that grabs my attention is more expensive than the RW's which I've only bought on sale or as 2nds. No denying that silhouette of the IR's. :)
Yeah, I bought a pair of iron rangers a few years back and now I have the Redwing roughneck, three pairs of Nick's boots ( which are in a totally different league altogether),a pair of White's ,a pair of Indonesian handmade,handwelted Junkart boots and I'm going to get myself a pair of Truman boots. Boy ,has it became one helluva addiction or what!!
Just bought my first pair of Iron Rangers and a pair of Blacksmith’s a week ago and I’m pretty impressed with their quality. Nicely done and pretty comfortable after a few days of wear.
Great Video. Love the IR Boots. Can't Just have one pair. As for your Carhartt Detroit Vintage Jacket. I have a Few Made in USA Ones. I'm 64 and found a New with Tags Old Stock Detroit that he Loves. Maybe do a Video on Carhartt since they are buy where you live.
