This is NOT right! I have as a US citizen been waiting a year and half to get my replacement proof of citizenship that cost $555! US citizens should always get their documents first since not only do we pay the salaries but pay fee!
I recently faced a situation where my F-1 visa was canceled at the U.S. port of entry, and I was given a 5-year bar for alleged unauthorized employment, which I denied. The basis for this allegation was a WhatsApp conversation. The consulate in my country advised me to reapply for the visa, which I did. During my visa interview, the consular officer took my passport and documents. I provided a letter from my university stating that I was not involved in any unauthorized employment, details of an on-campus internship, and evidence of my good academic standing. Additionally, I showed my net worth certificate from a Chartered Accountant and other supporting documents.Given these circumstances, is there anything more I can do to expedite my case? Are there any specific steps or additional documentation that could improve my chances of getting a waiver for the 5-year bar? Any advice on how to handle this situation to facilitate a quicker and favorable resolution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Have a B1/ B2 visa for 10 yrs and it will expire in May 2025. Been to US at Harvard and back. Is it possible to convert this to permanent visa as per current rules ?

hello! if you travel to the usa on a visitor visa, can a us citizen file for you? and if so, would you be able to travel back the your home country or you have to remain in the usa until the process is over?
@dontsayittwice, if the USC is the spouse or adult child, yes they can file. If the filing is done before the visitors visa is expired, then a travel permit will be issued in about 3 to 6 months.
i would love to see the day they give 21 yr old and over children of us citizens a work permit while we wait for priority date to be current esp those with bsc or msc

8 years waiting to bring my kids I became US citizen and I apdate my case I thought I did a good thing after I got my citizens, but they told me my case is got from F2A to F1 because when I update my kids age pass 21, but they didn't count they been waiting almost 8 years with this case it's really sad
The crazy thing about these videos is that they know these people are coming to the United States for relationships and they also know that come here they will get an adjustment of status to get married their whole point is to. Why would anybody wanna go back to the third world country? So the whole point to keep people out of the United States because of fear of them getting married is just ridiculous and really governmental. I am a US citizen married 7 years to a Filipina. I need open heart surgury and can not travel alone................We prepared & presented all the documentation and were denied two times. DENIED & DENIED AGAIN!!!! I traveled alone and it nearly killed me. My heart was so weak they couldnt operate & sent me home to manila. Both times they didnt even look at the documentation they just denied the visa. We are re applying as I have to try again in Oct. Everyone we know that has applied for a spousal visa to accompany a US citizen spouse for medical attention has been denied....... IT IS AN OUT RAGE!!!!!!!! NO EXPLANATION, APPLICATION FEE'S NOT REFUNDED.................. BLINKENS ADMIN IS RESPONSIBLE, IT USED TO BE SO EASY............................... OUTRAGIOUS!!!!
