Imagine my surprise while listening to "fabric chat" and actually quilting I hear "Ohio" - even though I live in it - now means crazy! 😂 why?????? Can't wait to the family! Eliza tell me why??😂🤣
i was around 4-5 years old when a pelican chased and attacked me. when it opened their “tiny” beak and throat i knew i was going to be swallowed. i remember my father grabbing me as it got right up to me. i knew if he hadn’t saved me i was going into the dungeon.
I wear a fanny pack when walking our dog. Always had one regardless of any fashion police. I did order a cross body pouch bag for traveling. Good to see everyone!!!!
The library of Alexandria had all of the books at one time. It was a research library in BC. But then there were several fires and it doesn’t have what you say it does.
no one wears as a bum bag. it came in fashion year or so ago when they started wearing them across from the shoulder like shoulder bag. the "style" ha. it's an improvement bc fanny packs are disgusting as they look a little to realistic to the more permanent packs lol
My husband fishes all around your area, Steamboat Rock State Park, O’Sullivan, and Evergreen. He has has seen pelicans on O’Sullivan (Potholes Resevoir). They had drained down the water so there were larger puddles. There were pelicans grouped together, swimming kind of like in formation and herding the fish in these puddles together. They’d hiked in cause they couldn’t get the boat in. The pelican panel is beautiful. I hadn’t noticed in Sunday box opening that there was a dock scene on the body of the pelican. Awesome!
I’ve ALWAYS said that “I need a wife” as an outside the home working mother to 4 boys and passionate quilter, you just need someone to organize it all for you!!!!❤
Thank you, thank you, thank you❤. I have been having a very stressful time at work. You all really helped me get out of my head today during Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) celebration. A time when we wish for everyone to have a sweet, healthy, successful, peaceful New Year. This morning, I was in tears, but after watching this week's Fabrichat, I am feeling better. ❤ I say 🎃 Pumpkin. I remember the 1st and only time in my 57 years that I saw a wild Pelican. My oldest had been recovering from Pneumonia and his 1st day back to school (6th grade) he had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. My husband and I were on the road/driveway (1/4 mile long) that went to the middle and elementary schools. This road is lined with trees as we live about 40 minutes north of the NJ Pinelands and about 20 minutes west of the NJ shore. Anyway, I happened to look up and there before my very eyes was a Pelican... it was huge!
I am soooo sorry you didnt get to go to Egypt! I know you really wanted to see it 😢 see you in a few weeks and we need to start taking 3 min showers like here to conserve water! That is an outrageous bill!!!!! If you ever see fabric with an Iwa (frigate bird) in flight, everyone in Hawaii would buy ❤️
I saved the box opening to watch when I was in bed and could relax for sleep. Well you are on a roll tonite and I am laughing so much there is no way I can relax and sleep. I will watch at dinnner time from now on haha.Funniervthan this mornings chat too. Had a neighbor that raised Emus to rent out as yard protectors from coyotes in high desert of southern california. They were almost as mean as the big male turkeys! I would be screaming with those kids!
Karen F. From Spokane. It was an original design. My second would the table runner which I really enjoyed. Thank you to all as I really enjoyed all your creativity. Bravo. ❤
Emus are such funny birds! A friend used to raise them and they were unpredictable in every way. Back then my girls wore their long hair in pony tails with the twisty ties with the balls on the end. Those silly birds could grasp those and twist them just right and to get them out of their hair then off they would go like they had absconded with the golden ticket! Pretty entertaining! I’m sorry your littles were freaked out.
Oh my goodness! I love, love, love my freeze dryer. My grandson loves the apples and pineapples, and the strawberries are great as well. I also do avacados! Have fun, Breanna. The possibilities are endless. . . 🙂
My grandkids would have loved that Emu! They would have thought of it as a challenge and raced the Emu around the fence until they dropped from exhaustion.
Pelicans are on Potholes, and Banks Lake most of the summer. They are very large, shy birds, and they travel in small groups. Awesome local feathered friends.❤
Did you know Daniella Stout of Cozy Quilt passed away from cancer last month. Very sad. I just wanted you to know so maybe a honor mention in your upcoming fund raiser. Brilliant young woman snatched away too soon.
Poor Tracy….. lol you should use vscc seal bags or bags that let you push out the air to ship the puffy stuff!! It’s a total game changer and helps a ton with shipping costs!
You are all crazy and fun. Maizey gets it from all of you but, certainly goes a little farther feeding Lizzy with a fork. She is such a wild child and cute. Ladies I applaud you all for working there and staying sane most of the time. Good to see Tracy more.
