This is what puts a big cheerful grin on my face: Lydham Manor hard at work on her home turf. She's music to my ears. Her shrill whistle and sharp bark are what makes me love her so much. God's Wonderful Railway at its best. I could cuddle and kiss you for this.
You could have changed trains and mixed it up a bit with a ride behind the Standard 4 tank engine. Yes, God's Wonderful Railway comes out on top for me, but I also love steamies that are different like 80151. It's good to have variety.
Hi Richard, Awesome as always. However. The Castle class nails it every time; especially with the ‘Doppler’…..😂 Rich. Washington DC. Ps. Used to live at Churston, Devon 😊
Fantastic stuff Richard, what a trip you've had! Great clips and good to see you on the Sunday as always. I'm sure I'll see you about after you've had a well deserved rest lol. Regards, Dan
It would be good to see Cookham Manor in steam, giving rides. She must be oh so bored standing about and doing nothing. Betton Grange is out and about while borrowing Foxcote Manor's tender. The volunteers are building a new tender for 6880 in the meantime. How long do you think it will be till we see County of Glamorgan in steam?
Another lovely video Richard well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on RU-vid bye for now Philip
Great film! Love the audio, will loop this again and again just for the sound. Black 5 making good progress with 10 on plus the Cl47 in tow - must be near the limit for going over Shap? Thanks for sharing
I am really grateful to people like yourself, who have a camera with a zoom and a half! I was on the end of my seat thinking that the Class 66 and the cement wagons were going to shroud S.N.G. Then I remembered that the viaduct is sadly single track working, which turns out great for your video! It brings back happy memories of being on the Thames Clyde express powering its way over the S & C to Glasgow for holidays in Ayr. Thanks for a great video!
It's all too easy to forget how steep the incline out of Keighley Station is. I can remember a Llangollen Railway day, when I was riding behind my beloved Foxcote Manor. She slipped on starting. Heavy handling wasn't the case, Foxy slipped because she was excited that I was riding behind her up close and personal. She didn't stall.
