For my intake, there were 2 quarantine locations. So one had transportation provided and the other didn't. For my location, I had to take a taxi to the quarantine facility. However, EPIK did give us specific instructions on how to do it all

I taught English through the EPIK program. I am no longer there, but Korea handled the situation pretty well I would say. However, they are barely starting to administer vaccines. I lived in Sejong so it can be different in other regions, but some of the regions did have restrictions with coming and going in and out of other cities.

😢 The commute is too long. Sejong city is basically all apartments. They couldn’t find you one there? I did hear Sejong retail prices are soaring so it might be the reason why you are so far. I hope it wasn’t too stressful. I’d hate a 1.5 hour commute

Hi! Yes, we did paid for the self quarantine ourselves, but Epik will provide you with the details on that. I've heard it being different from previous intakes so it really depends on which dorm/facility you are at, but it can range from $100-$125 a day with everything included(total cost could be about $1,400 to $1,700 USD)! Hey just wanted to pop in here and answer your question! You can major in any subject just as long as you have a Bachelors degree and you will need a TEFL certificate from an accredited program.

Also, if you have a degree in English or Education then you won't need a TEFL certificate. The requirements are also listed on a pdf on the EPIK website if you're looking to go through EPIK :)
