If there is that much resin flowing off the glasses, the instructions were not followed. I only use resin that has been thickened, therefore the resin stays in the glasses except the small amount that drips off after applying heat. And you you only apply enough of the thickened resin to cover part of the glass.
I never use my bowls for fruit. The possible decaying of the fruit or acids from fruit can possibly break down the resin over time. Even if resin says food safe, I never use bowls for storage displays of real fruit.

I mixed my resin put the color in mix the color with the paddle mixer and began pouring I left out the part where you were supposed to wait for the epoxy to thicken up for 30 minutes. What a mess I have made. But I still have plenty of epoxy left and I will try again tomorrow but I have to wait until 10:00 tonight to see if I could get the plastic away from this thin layer of epoxy that I have put down. We all have to make mistakes before we become perfectionist but it was still fun.
I tried my first resin bowl and it is a disaster. I used so much resin it covered the whole TV table it thinned out I sprinkled sparkle color on it and it began to turn purple and green, it was supposed to be lavender. I sprinkled lavender chips on top of the epoxy instead of putting the design chips on the table first. But it's my first time and I hope that my plastic is not so thin that I can't take it off I may have to end up throwing it away. I watched this woman do this and she is such a master at it I hope I can become as good as she is because I have seen her vases and they are absolutely beautiful. I will watch your video again and I will try again and thank you for sharing your art❤
I'm a resin newbie and I just want to say I love all of your detailed tutorials and I've been watching RU-vid videos of resin art makers and trying to find out what kind of plastic you use so it doesn't stick underneath the resin & will be easy to unmold thank you..
You ate so creative but beyond that I have never found anyone on you tube that explains the process the way you do. I watched many artists doing bowls but I was never sure how to make one. Now I’m going to try. Thank you.
This is the best video for teaching you how to make this bowl. I learned a lot. While watching, I went to Amazon and saved things I need to buy, like the gloves and glass. I look forward to making a beautiful bowl myself.
