Hi LorriMarie. There is absolutely no words to describe how great an Artist you are, you have an incredible thinking process that no one can match, that’s why we all love you, take care and see ya on the table.X💕🏴
LorrieMarie, I'm still hear with you on the Costa Rica Channel. I didn't realize you started in 2017. That me I started washing near the being. I had recently retired and you were a great inspiration for me to venture into creating. A life long wish that I never had the time to do. I am for ever greatful. Love your kitchen adventures, baskets, and slow stitching. I have recently have been rediscovering crochet. It has been many decades since I crocheted anything. It has been great to learn variation on some of the standard stitches. Someone figure out a way to make cleaner edges. I ordered yarn to make a ..... wait for it.... Basket. I hadn't noticed the parallel until now. 😅 Be well.

oh kri...keep me posted! if only i could do a guest appearance with you...how fun would that be! july will be a great playful month my friend...i will be playing with slow stitching and my new passion...palm baskets...so my dear kri....go create, go play, go have fun!
Fabulous!, but did it become a bit smaller with the slow stitching? I know when I’ve done rows of machine stitching on fabric it has shrunk the size of the piece. Just curious if hand stitching does the same thing.
i have experienced that too gay! the slow stitch on this vest did not effect the size...although i could use it a bit smaller...lol! i think the size was not changed because the slow stitches are not that tight...what a great question tho gay! thank you...go create, go play, go have fun!
i have worn it with my patched jeans...what a fun combo ishka...and...i am so proud of you for all your planning for your class ishka! touch as many people as you can with your painted hands!!!! go create, go play, go have fun!
I absolutely love your vest! It is so beautiful! I am going to be on the lookout for one. I am having a lot of fun with slow stitching. So far, I have just made purses and a needle book. I think a clothing exchange would be so much fun!
oh my gosh sdeforest...maybe you need to initiate a clothing exchange...i have overalls and jeans that are patched and patched and patched...some slow stitch and some machine stitched...i have a sewing machine here with me...but the slow stitching is so darn much fun! thank you for checking in sdeforest! go create, go play, go have fun!
Gurlfriend, you just never, ever run out of such unique ideas!! I have no idea just how you think of these awesome ideas!! In my book, you are simply amazing!! Thank you for this wowsa idea. ;)
LM, what a glorious little stitched vest! It looks like you! I just adore your idea, of simply stitching over what patterns are already there. How cool, indeed. Not to mention, this is the very first time I'd ever heard of a clothing exchange. Brilliant idea! Thanks Tootsie.
hey hey toots....a clothing exchange...what a great way to get a new wardrobe and to purge out things we do not need! thank you so much for popping in my dear friend....xo
That is lovely, and I also love the idea of an exchange. I have some crafting buddies to I think I’ll bounce that off them. We do yarn, knitting etc exchanges but cloths would be fun. I wish I knew some paper crafters near me, because god only knows I have things to exchange (give a way really). I have a rule now, (should have enforced it many many years ago) if hubby or I bring something in, something goes out. It’s helped in our closets immensely. Love the slow stitching, Have a great week
one thing in....one thing out sandi...keeps things a bit better under control for this girl...lol....and i gave most of my art supplies away when we relocated to costa rica...it was hard...and it was necessary sandi...that has allowed room for the slow stitching and the palm baskets....i know you get it! i used to have clothing exchanges in california...so much fun! stay in touch sandi!
Great how much interest this added to the patterned cloth, such a good idea, love it. PS Happy that you feel free to be at the table again with this version of LM as an artist
