you have the seat belt in the lower position, raise it up, the closer the neck it sits the safer it is, if you have it too low then the risk is that it slides off your shoulder during an accident, and then it can hurt you instead
Amazon sells a chrome delete specifically for the F Sport by SlickMod. I also learned a lot after the first couple pieces, but then it was smooth sailing from there. It really helps to do it on a hot day & keep the car outside to help with the vinyl curing. I highly recommend SlickMod’s Chrome Delete cuz the pieces are all precut.
yeah that happened to me too at first, then I realized it wasn't clipped in all the way. I stopped at the first "clip" but you just have to keep pushing it up until you heard it really clip in. I hope that helps.
Ok so this popped up on my recommended, I know it’s been a year, but how did it hold up? I know Amazon has so many sellers selling the same type of products so curious to see how this one worked out
Honestly it’s held up well. There has been no lifting or shrinking. Could I have done a better job with applying ? Sure. But the actual product held up well
I always try to keep my Audi clean too. Just FYI, getting a foam sprayer and Armor All Snowfoam has made washing much easier. Wet the car, rinse off the tough stuff, then spray on the foam. I'm super leery of dirt on my wash cloth, and it scratching my paint, so I have a pile of clean microfiber cloths. I use one for a bit, then toss it in the "dirty" bucket, and get a clean one. Six or seven can do the whole car. Rinse, chamois and I'm done. Glad you put up a vid, was wondering how the Lexus was doing.

This brought back bad memories of wrapping my window trim on my GS 350 😩 it’s definitely not easy getting around the bottom corners of the rear door windows and I completely botched the job I did on the outer front grill 😩 but hey, looks like you did good!
I felt that, when you had to keep starting over. I know, I’ve done alot to my car. And I do alot of it by myself. But the more you mess up. The more you understand how it works and that’s the best part. Is when you finish it and actually get it done. Its the best feeling ever
Hey what’s the tint percentage on your Lexus? It’s very simple to align the aftermarket steering wheel by the way, the middle hole has a line , so you just align that with the line on the steering wheel and torque it down to at least 100flb
Awesome job! It looks fantastic. In all honesty, if/when I upgrade to a flat bottom wheel on my Audi, I'll probably have have done at a local shop that specializes in German cars. I just don't have the patience that you showed in doing this. Well done!
The end results are worth it! Love the amount of work & detail you put into washing/detailing your car. I’m a bit ocd when it comes to getting every crevice & no amount of dirt is safe around you lol 👍🏽👍🏽
I literally just finished plasti dipping the front lip of my Lexus IS and your video pops out of nowhere 😭😂 its as if the RU-vid algorithm is telling me to do this next! Thank you for the tutorial btw! Looks clean af 😃 I've realized that the blue tape part is the most important and takes a lot of effort and at the same time it also feels like doing a huge art project lmao
Awesome job. Looks great against the white paint. I'm planning on doing my new Audi, and I'm doing the RU-vid research thing. If you do a repeat, please post it, with what you've learned from your first attempt. The learning process is important. I do think I'm going to use the knifeless cutting tape, I think that looks like the easiest way to cut it to the right size. Let us know if you try that for your second attempt. Cheers.
Thank you ! When I redo it in the spring I will definitely be using the knifeless tape to get my corners and end points more precise. Good luck on your wrap, I hope it turns out well!
I got them on Amazon, great quality I haven’t had any issues after replacing all the interior lights www.amazon.com/dp/B07GNBHXSJ/ref=cm_sw_r_mwn_dp_7Q5Z41M2T9FQGR2892EF
