Im looking for a DTF printer for my small shirt business. Im really concerned about training and set up on this one. Can you give me some more information to help me decide? Thank you, Lil Sewing Shop
Virtual training is included with the purchase of the Prestige R2. We also offer onsite training for an additional expense. Upon purchasing and setup, you will also have an opportunity to be linked with technical support for real time assistance.
Thanks for this. I was pressing T-shirts and I forgot to put the parchment between the transfer and the heat plate and it got stuck to the plate. I finished what I was doing and I let it cool down and then I sprayed some Goo Gone on it and it came right off.
Question, and maybe you could help. I have this printer and love it, but I seem to being going through ink faster than I was expecting. I have lots of waste.
The printer automatically runs a cleaning cycle every 4 hours. We recommend leaving this feature enabled if the customer uses the printer for less than 1 hour per day. If you are printing for more than 1 hour daily, you can press the emergency stop button on top to allow the white ink and circulation system. This will prevent the 4-hour auto-cleaning cycle from occurring.

Hi how can I improve my colors I have and Epson that I converted in eco solvent ink but my green is not coming right it’s more like a lime green and I want dark green please help me
On a warm (not hot) platen, we suggest using a non-abrasive cleanser like 409, a non-stick spatula or another tool that will not scratch the non-stick coating of the heating element (think tools you would use with a non-stick frypan), and a lot of elbow grease. Review the video for more details.
@@glennmaloney4962 That's great! If you have a scrap piece of fabric, you can also continue to press it to (hopefully) remove any residue or residual ink.
at 1:03 to 1:05 she said "take your transfer tape". correction, that is Heat Resistant Tape, Not Transfer Tape". Based on the title of this video, it has alot of misinformation. Even seeing the responses you guys provided in the comment section, there is misinformation and misleading information. This is suppose to be educational. I am taking a picture of my comment to see if you guys are going to delete after. I am also reporting this video for misinformation.
We are sorry that you didn't find the video helpful or informational. The products used in the video are listed within the description, so if unclear as to what type of tape should be used, the link is provided.
I have the Aries 113, the UV DTF prints do not hold up outside at all. This doesn't mean it's not a good printer, we like it, and use it. But outdoor prints, like on your vehicle, will begin to fall apart in as little as 2 or 3 weeks.
If there is ink still on the transfer paper, you may need to increase your time for more of the ink to release. Please send us a photo of your results at service@proworldinc.com so we can assist you further.
Hi there. Just purchased this printer with my local seller in NZ but just waiting for activation code for software. It came all set up with inks etc. Wanting to know if I turn it on for the first time as recommended and leave it, will it do an automatic clean itself? Or do I need to push anything to start it without software? Was told the print head and roller will move side to side but that hasn't happened with it initializing etc. Just makes a stirring noise. Is that supposed to be like that or what actually happens when it does an auto clean? Thanks
Please contact your local seller for assistance. They will be able to provide the activation code and help with setup. There is also an online training session that you can register for with the manufacturer.
It is not recommended to change the inks in the printer. It can cross-contaminate the lines causing inconsistent results, and it will void the printer's warranty if applicable.
Anyone that tells you to sublimate on Vinyl has no idea what they are doing, vinyl aka PVC breaks down into hazardous chemicals at these temps, don't do this
You will need to use the ink that is compatible with the printer, sublijet UHD www.proworldinc.com/sublimation/sublimation-inks.html?ink_type=8019&ink_use_printer=7966
The ink that is compatible with the SG500 printer is the Sublijet UHD ink set: www.proworldinc.com/sublimation/sublimation-inks.html?ink_type=8019&ink_use_printer=7966 $77 per cartridge.
To clean dirt off the bottom silicone pad, you can use windex and a sponge. However, if you accidentally print a design on the bottom pad, the easiest clean up is to cover it with a fabric cover www.proworldinc.com/hpa-1515-f-15x15-fabric-cover.html or old tshirt.
Once you use a particular ink set in your printer, you need to continue to use that ink set. For example, if you start with sublijet UHD, you will need to reorder Sublijet UHD.
THIS IS SO WRONG! You can't make sublimation on linen, and if you are changing the linen (or any blank) to sublimate, than that is the most important part of the process that people should know, otherwise, people will be just ruining material
